My door handle is quite near the top of the housing and top mounting screw is just below the handle. Which spring cassettes are suitable for this configuration?

You can also just replace the spring pack. But the white looks much nicer

the trouble with my door was the return springs were internal within the door mechanism not the handle so thats why i had to fit new handles it was not feasable to strip the door but yes your spot on if you have worn springs within the door handle you can replace them.if i remember correctly the door handle cost £11

How do you know if it fits over the lock ? I want to replace mine , its gone a bit like this. Cheers 🍻

I have that problem at the moment. My upvc door handles don't have that spring, is that normal? Did the ones you replaced have it or no? Thanks in advance

early upvc doors have the springs actually in the doors if they become weak the door handles hang down and dont return to the normal position so the door handles with spring packs sort this problem
