the only problem that I see, and this is very common, people get wrapped up in having everything in the bag. well, what if you loose it. fall of a boat trying to cross a river, robbed, get car jacked and can't grab the bag in time. I like what you did with yours, but I do have a suggestion. in the main compartment put things that you can immediately put on your body when you realize it is time for the bag to get used. gun with belt holster and spare mags, knife (or in my case knives), cash, take ID out of your wallet and drop the wallet into the main compartment. put a flashlight on your belt or pocket. so what I'm saying is when you make your plan, build the bag so that you don't have to get to it for everything. Damn, I need my bag. hit the trunk, desk, closet. open bag. put extraneous stuff that is in your pockets in it and don everything that you want on your body. gun, knives, mags, light gloves in pocket with cash and ID. but the main thing for me is having the gun accessible. if you need the bag, other people may need the bag too. and they know you're not going to be carrying around your laptop, or school books, or TPS reports or new architectural drawings, around in that situation. I want to be able to draw from concealment and shoot when needed. it's the whole on body, off body carry argument, women have to deal with in a purse. that's my opinion only. I'm not saying you're doing it wrong because my situations are most likely very different from yours.

and it will cut down the weight on your back and have some on your belt instead. hopefully the bag is not going to be heavy enough to use the waist strap.

That section between the beaver tail and main pack would be a perfect place to put lvl III or lvl IIII soft body armor. In your fight mode it would be towards the threat, and in flight mode it would be protecting your back from a threat.

I don't much care for many backpacks that claim to be 'urban' but still look very tacti-cool, but this one, even though it has a kind of molle look, it's not blatant molle, lots of other backpacks that aren't 'tactical' have similar looks. I really like this bag!

Some "Get Home (@1~3 days)" thoughts on technology... If your phone doesn't have an "Ultra Low Power Mode" like my Samsung Note 4 has, which can extend a full charge battery out to 15+ days of constant on operation, you would want to look into adding a USB-powered Battery Pack. This will give you a far larger battery for your phone. You could even add a small solar charger that can clip to the back of the pack and charge your phone as you walk in sunlight...

Hi mate, awesome video. I totally love all your videos. When you get time, may I recommend a future video, a get home bag TSA (passable) version. Before I became disabled and housebound my EDC/GHB (same thing) used to be that, as I used to travel extensively by Air & Sea so had to pass through the Airport style carry on checks. I will at some point try and do a video myself, but mine are not as good as yours! Would be awesome if we could do that. It is also good because a lot of people go abroad as tourist and they are exceptionally ill prepared when things like, natural disasters, Syria/ Paris/ Indonesia type attacks happen. But we don't to hype it, but constructive advice to folks will also give our prepared community a fantastic image! Let me know what you think. Warm regards. DisabledPrepper

+DisabledPrepper Great comment. I've been wondering about the same thing. I'll be traveling overseas this summer and will be limited to the types of things I can bring. My CCW will have to stay home and of course knives are a no no with TSA. I can bring a sawyer filter and other assorted non threatening items but I'm still trying to formulate how I will pack for my trip. A video on this type of thing would be great.

T Doyle Thank you for the feedback. I will take out all the stuff in my bag that is related to my research work, so things that shall not be relevant & that will leave things that would be advisable for anyone. Everything I currently have is TSA passable anyway. :) Warm regards. DisabledPrepper
