I AM SPEECHLESS over this one! This is one CRAZY CITY VIOLATION JOB! The lot is HUGE and there is debris EVERYWHERE! Luckily I was able to bring in some help with the cleanup and mowing. But the back and side yards were so bad that I had to bring in Munchie for those areas!

This breaks my heart. We own 60 acres that none of the kids want. I cannot keep up with it by myself. How can elderly people be expected to do this with hand tools? Yet everyone shows up wanting free eggs, meat and honey.

Lease part of it to a young farmer in exchange for them maintaining the property. There are lots of beginning farmers who can't afford land and would love the chance to work your farm. Contact your local extension agent.

Mrs. Penobscot: I'm in Greer, SC. I would like to suggest you call the local high school and ask if they have an FFA program. It very well could be a few of those students would be willing to help you...and you could allow them some area to grow their own produce and sell it at no cost except to maintain your property. It would be a great learning opportunity for them, and you might find a couple you appreciate enough to give them some of your land for their own as you get to know them. Certainly, I'd rather give it to someone who will use and enjoy it, rather than leave it to children who will only sell/develop it when you're gone. Goodness knows...we're growing tremendously in SC. blessings on you!

Loving the negative ninnies...it's so nice of y'all and your holier than thou Arm chair expertise. What would be welcomed, is that y'all do these jobs and put up a video and let real time caring people comment... Hell of a job. Good thing you had the equipment you needed to get the job done. Kind of sad the place looks abandoned and a haven for vandals and squatters. Yea, if it is not an an acre, it is what is called a short acre. That property needs a young couple who will give it the love it needs and deserves. Again, Kudos to you for doing a tough job well.

Great job I watch a lot of urban exploration videos going round looking at abandoned houses and can not believe what is left some look like gone out shopping and never returned So many houses where people gone and just left its unbelievable

Please consider wearing safety glasses vice regular glasses when cutting pipes etc. Regular glasses just don’t fit close enough for good protection.🙏

Super huge job and 100% better. At least the rats and the snakes will have to find another place to live. You've got to wonder just how long all that hard work will last.
