Urban Perch Fishing in Birmingham City Centre

Жыл бұрынWhile I was recently in Birmingham at the SBS Boatlife 2023 show I couldn't help but try to have a go at the Perch in the canals, apparently Birmingham has more canals than Venice and I have to admit it's a surreal experience fishing in a fast moving city with hundreds of people walking around, a far cry from what I'm used to. That being said it was something I have always wanted to try!
Didn't set the world on fire with the numbers but this is just a small glimpse into the world of inner city urban fishing!

One of older ones but a favourite of mine, it's the Okuma Epixor 1000 reel and the Okuma Psychic Perch 1-8g

I take it you're more experienced than the guy you were with I'm just guessing but by the way you had to keep telling him to stay back from the bank and then when you get a perch you got him to touch it fair play to teaching the hobby part obsession lol and another great video.

Yes Aaron is from Cornwall so he probably has never even seen a Perch before

@Cast North Angling thanks for the reply I love your videos. I don't know whether or not you have covered how to fish a new lake for pike and perch. How do you find them and 1 more question does it matter what direction the wind is blowing thanks pal hope you can help me out with them.
