Tip for low ceilings and bridges. Cut an old CB antenna the height of your camper from your front bumper. Add a couple of inches, just in case. When in doubt attach it to your front bumper and creep forward. If it bends, back out. A little ingenuity and you can make it easily dismountable and keep it stowed away until needed.

You might want 2 consider covering the outside of your window covers with Black ⚫ material so it just looks like window tinting. In fact, covering your windows with window tinting sheets provides privacy in the daytime as well.

Hi, Mav. I have a 2013 F-150 so I watch the truck parts of your videos with special appreciation. Your information screen says you need to check a tire pressure sensor, and you are very low on gas. Here is the truck question that has always intrigued me: every time you slam the back hatch shut on your camper top, there is a tinking sound. I have a top as well, and I can't imagine what would be loose enough in your hatch mechanism to make that sound. It sounds like a little cat collar bell.

The answer to your battery issue is called a battery isolater. You hook up battery #1, you'r trucks battery, to the number one battery slot on the isolator. That runs the truck normally.... You hook up the auxiliary battery, preferably a super high output Lithium or AGM deep cycle car battery (the one for your accessories in the back of your truck) to the # two battery slot of your isolator. You hook the other portion of the isolator to where the truck battery normally goes to. WHEN YOUR TRUCK IS RUNNING your trucks alternator charges both battery's through the isolator instead of just the trucks battery. When your truck is shut off you run stuff off the Aux battery, the isolator separates / isolates your Aux battery, so your trucks main battery will NEVER go dead. Some isolators also have a switch so if your trucks main battery does go dead it will connect both batteries together like you were being jump started. They sell battery isolators at RV supply places like Camping World.

The only thing that ruins the stealth in this truck is the fact that you have to get out of your truck and hop in the back of it. That makes it really easy for someone to see you hopping in the back of your truck.

You have a nice rig. If you do parking lots try to pack your rod storage lower and your traxx flat. Then measure your truck. Remember the number. My truck is 6’7”. The garages are always marked. The bar in front that you clear is your tell. That is the law and if it is off they are liable for truck damage. Then watch out for higher levels, sometimes the clearance drops, but it is marked too. Ask me how I learned this. Common in Vegas and airports and hotel lots.

Honestly rest area on top of the hill works great for overnighting for free. Even the Duluth police suggest going there. For the RVers that don't mind spending a little money $50 for electric only, park it right at the arena in the Canal Park area. Arrive late after attendant left and leave early and it is possible to avoid paying all together.
