I’ve found that the packaging for cars rarely has the scale printed on it. However, the manufacturer often prints the scale into the undercarriage of cars and trucks along with the year, make and model of the vehicle. So if you buy one car from a line, you can check the underside for the scale. I do not condone opening packages you have not purchased.

@@gaminggeek241 definitely the paper options. Loved the Black Widow poster and graffiti ideas!! Just ordered all my supplies from Michael’s and going to pickup today. You’ve probably already seen this, but blacksitestudio.com has some excellent MDF buildings at reasonable prices, and most come apart to game inside. No painting required. And if you’re looking for a fun horror themed minis game, check out blacksitestudio.com/dlb/. With the success of Don’t Look Back, they been churning out tons of new terrain on a regular basis. Also a fan of the PlastiCraft ColorEd line of buildings. Despite all the terrain I have, city scapes were not among them. Looking forward to the rest of your content. Love Shadows of Brimstone, so I’m curious to watch your videos on that monster next!

Great overview, and very fine looking table! Good point about resizing, also true of the cardstock, most people don't realise how variable similar buildings can b e even in real life (I'm a Town Planner, I look at buildings and townscapes more than is healthy!). Most of my scenery is SF or fantasy, but I use some of the Fat Dragon stuff and a lot of it has the advantage of being designed to flat pack after use. Can't recall if that is true of this set or not.

For more modern era 3D printing options there are Precinct 187 from Z1 Design: www.z1design.co.uk/precinct-187 Then there's Jens' designs over at www.3dprintterrain.de - he has models from the Dark Ages and up to modern day (most of his sets are WWII, but you also have Wild West, American Civil War, Medieval times, Ancient Rome, Middle East (both older and modern era) etc.). Thirdly, there's World of War buildings. They've done a range of Kickstarters ranging from one Medieval over WWII to modern/apocalyptic and futuristic/space models. www.wowbuildings.net/ I don't see all of their models in their shop, so I don't know if one has to contact them to inquire further about the specific files from their campaigns, but here's the modern/apocalyptic one: www.kickstarter.com/projects/wowbuildings/apocalypse-wow/ (from there you can also find the other Kickstarters they've done).

You can find an MDF or plastic etc Dumpster for cheap on Etsy too and IIRC Reaper Bones has one. Same with vending machines, etc. For a billboard though, I think I'd just scratch build that. And if you're using railroad stuff anyway then a train yard could be a great battlefield.

It's a good video but the one option you didn't really discuss is making your own terrain! Don't have the "talent"? It's on par to middle-school art projects honestly. Grab some cardboard or foam-board, some elmer's glue, some pins, a straight-edge, hobby knives, and the like.....and have at it! There are so many resources, for free, available on how to make your own terrain! Not great at painting? Well you can still create whatever building you want and simply print out designs with a pretty cheap home printer. Give it a wash to weather it and there ya go! This is by far the cheapest method of creating terrain.....all you need is some basic tools and materials.....and a little imagination and creativity!
