I needed a stand to hold my iPad while I watch videos, so I made this simple and easy project over the weekend. I used Huon Pine and Rosewood to make something straight forward and elegant.

Looks amazing. Im interested to understand why you didn’t set an angle on the dado? Your the first video that I’ve seen not do it and if im honest am favouring this as I don’t have a table saw. Im was going to use my router

There's no need to do it other than design aesthetics. I prefer simplicities 😁

this looks like it would kill your ipad at the edge and be super flimsy when you're touching it.

@UrbanSelfSufficiency oh well I'm glad it's working out, ive noticed a lot of designs use an L shaped holder to help support it at the back could be beneficial if you ever make a new rendition.
