As a Hungarian and a big fan of you guys this video was soooo awesome to see. May I ask you guys for the locations in email or in some other way? I try to help you understand a bit more. "Dohányozni Tilos" means no smoking, because at this time there way a lot of workers who smoked while working. Every floor there was sings that said "40 fő", "80 fő" etc. Fő means people and 40 people of course means how many people can stay at a floor in the same time. Chlorogenium is a disinfectant for hand washes and work machines. Yes, you guys got the abandoned right but the power station is written like this "erőmű". What you guys tought way a gas detector is really a radiation meter or as you guys might know geiger counter and the volt meter is not really a volt meter its a radiation meter structure. As always awesome video and I would love to see you guys go to other places in Hungary because there are many cool abadoned places in my country.

For Exploring the Unbeaten Path: I think this is the Little-Moscow bunker complex, north-west from Tótvázsony at Veszprém county, am I right?

Probably souvenir hunters or looters, some of the rarer cold war Civil Defence stuff can sell upwards of $150 on eBay, even the gas masks are around $20 each, but if you can get a crate that's 100 masks so $2000, there's a lot of money in this stuff especially the old posters, a lot of hipsters will buy them for like $60 each.

This bunker was Hungarian not Soviet as you do not see any Cyrillic texts. Russians would not have understood the language on the walls, books and instruction plates. It seems that it was abandoned after October 1989 when the Stalinist: Hungarian People's Republic became the first capitalist Hungarian Republic.

Why is the Cold War bunker in Hungary so well-preserved? There is no dampness and mildew, second only to the bunkers in Germany. On the other hand, the bunkers in other European countries are not well preserved, especially the weathering is too fast.

For the first bunker, idk why they didn't bring tools to cut the lock off? Like you go exploring you have to anticipate there's somewhere that's rusted or locked shut and you want to get in....like... isn't that just a no-brainer to bring at Least some basic tools???

Beautiful place. I wonder where in Hungary this place is.

It is located in the western part of the country. During the soviet occupation it served as a heavily guarded small town for soviet and hungarian military officers and their families. The complex included several blocks of flats, playgrounds, a kindergarten and a primary school. The place was abandoned after the Red Army left the country, nobody uses it and that's a shame, because the building are still in a good condition, but at least it is guarded.

You're welcome! Do a YT search, just type in "Kis-Moszkva", and you've got a plenty of urbex videos, most of them by Hajner Gyula- Ghost Cities in Hungary, a nice walkthrough in several episodes, with narration in Hungarian. btw Kis-Moszkva means Little Moscow
