Meaning of word ّرب مالك - owner سيد - one who has authority like a judge or head of a family or head of a tribe منعم - one who gives gift(inaam) الُمربي - one who looks over the growth(like a gardner who takes care of a garden or a farmer for a crop) القيمّ - one who keeps looking for us as maintainer everything in this world is running due to his permission

Salamoalaikum seikh, I am from India, I heard your lecture about akhri mojeza in KZfaq and you’re explaining the meaning of Alhumdolillah (traif+shukr), before that i used to say alhumdolillah but just for shukr and I am suffering from abdominal disease and make duwa on regular basis but seikh today morning after hearing your lecture last night when I made duwa then I was thinking like alhumdolillah means Allah has some hikmat in my disease also and i shukr Allah for that decision of Allah regarding my health. Now my whole perspective has changed and through the literal meaning of Alhumdolillah now i feel I don’t need to make duwa, if I make duwa then I am not making shukr to Allah’s decision..Now brother please guide me how to make duwa with the literal meaning of Alhumdolillah
