Been a Warriors fan since the 60's and 70's and as much as I enjoyed Klay being a big part of their success, I wish him well also and hope he plays well against us but loses. Warriors are overextended and Klay is not the player he once was. It was a smart business decision to keep this team competitive. GO WARRIORS

Unquestionable the right decision for Klay. All other things are for conversations. He went to a better team. The only question is will GSW improve. So far, the answer is no. GSW is no closer to winning a championship. I bet Klay will have more championships than Step.

Sad to see him go but also happy bc Mavs is my 2nd favorite team. On the other hand I find the Lakers have a somewhat unstable situation never knowing when is Lebron gonna wake up on the wrong side of the bed and have his coach fired and x player/s traded so yes, if he had to go somewhere I'm glad he chose Dallas.

I would have taken the 48 mil for two years that GSW offered. Face it-Klay 0-10 in the play-in game. Unfortunately, the Mavs had no answer for Boston-on the real they got swept. The game they won was a fluke. Mavs defense looked weak.

DEFINITELY Mismanaged. He did not casue any of seasons to be compromised. Let's be real== WHOLE Seasons AND CHAMPIONSHIPS AND BRAND have been compromised by others when KLAY WAS ALWYAYS KEEPING IT CLASSY AND SAVING FACE. Not only was KLAY mismanaged but it looked AWEFUL. You being a CLASS ACT no matter what has also been compromised. Should have Handled it BETTER. BROUGHT IN SO MUCH MORE REVENUE THAN HE WAS EXPECTING IN PAY. PAY KLAY even sounds RIGHT!!!

The Warriors are making all the right off-season moves to make another championship run. But, if they don't get back to the NBA Finals, Klay Thompson and the Mavericks might be the reason why. Luka Doncic is going to demand defensive double and triple teams which will leave Thompson wide open most of the time. This could be the nightmare that comes back to haunt Golden State.

That's people personal opinion if they feel like his legacy is doom! Klay legacy forever to be remember & he will always be one of the greatest to ever play with the warriors! He prove it with four champions! Warriors organization should have got rid of draymond he is trouble & bully. Klay & steph were the heart of the team, the splash brother's were awesome together! Warriors organization did klay dirty... Three good players are gone & draymond in the midst of it with the drama he cause. Kd, Poole & klay are gone & some of it is because of draymond & he still there and got paid big! This is bad how they did klay, it was dirty! Karma is coming for the warriors the way they did klay. Good luck klay you will be respected else where. I don't blame kd & Poole for leaving & most of all klay gets the bad end of it all. I wish you well klay he deserves all the respect for all he help he did playing with the warriors. Sad thing to happen for klay.
