My childhood has been just like yours and worked through all of it to become a little selfish. I don’t agree with the not reacting thing. The whole world reacts when they feel disrespected or angry or sad. It lets the person know that this is not okay. Because we don’t learn to react we keep accumulating heavy emotions and then suffer more than others.

@@shivii3850 no no that's not I meant about reacting, see i became selfless due to my childhood issues. Even now if I see pain in others i would try to be there. I want to not get effected by his actions. I have learned one hard lesson is that an other person can hurt you through violence or physically. If someone mentally or emotionally hurting you means, you handoer the power of your vulnerability to them and your own mind is hurting you by responding to their actions. I don't know if I said clear but I won't let him affect me break my mental stature. I will find the peace within me.

I'm on a twin flame journey and my DM is an avoidant. I too got fed up with the immature behavior from him and he blocked me and then unblocked me for no reason at all so I pulled back my energies. I can understand a bit how you may be feeling. I always found blocking to be rather harsh and had a 4 year relationship prior where we never once blocked each other. If I can suggest to you, go on a mutual no contact with the person but do not block the communication pathways as that is putting them totally out of your life. For me in case of emergency or anything of the sort, I let them know they can still make contact for that if they needed me but normal daily communication has stopped totally as mostly I was the one texting everyday but he take sometimes more than 24 hours to answer me. At the end of the day do what you think is best for you, I just thought I would give you the suggestion. All the best to you and I hope you have all the happiness your heart deserves. 🙏
