Even if you die, they’ll not leave you behind they’ll get you out of there. On one of the operations an operator blew his foot off, ankle down everything was gone except a piece of his heel, that man wanted to climb up the mountains to the extraction zone, with his IV bottle in his one hand and his weapon in other. But on request of the team commander, he climbed on one of the operators back, each one of them were carrying 35 kilos of load already , they climbed the mountain for two days straight got him on the chopper and they returned to the fight and finished it off by the 5th day, that’s what these men are made out off. This story is of 9 para SF which is know to be the most elite unit. 9 was also involved in this uri surgical strike.

The reason behind making this movie was actually related to this incident. The director of this movie, Aditya Dhar, was about to make another movie and had decided to cast an actor from Pakistan. But during that process, this URI attack happened and a decision was made to ban Pakistani artists from performing in India. This led to the shutting down of the film the director was planning. Later on, Aditya Dhar became more curious about what exactly has halted his planned movie. So he started researching about this incident and went so deep into it that the reason for his film getting cancelled became a reason to make a film on that very incident.
