Excellent playing! Gary Thai had a very unique and recognizable style. Great shuffle beat and walking bass line and fast riff. It is a shame that he died at such a young age. Keep up the great work.

Incredible, you really seemed to capture the spirit of Gary’s playing with this. His lines feel so simple and understated, with the occasional flourish that gives the impression that he could be doing something way more intricate if he wanted to. But instead he just instinctively does exactly what the song needs, makes himself known but never takes away any space from the other musicians. I just don’t understand why it’s so uncommon to come across people giving him his dues. I’m not a bass player myself but after listening to classic Uriah Heep I often find myself browsing marketplaces for a good starter. One of these days I’ll take the plunge and it’ll be these songs that I’ll be wanting to try to tackle and learn from most of all.
