Saw Heep last night in Bournemouth UK opening for Judas Priest with Saxon in the middle! Heep did "Gypsy" in their short set! What a night!. 3 of the finest in rock with 20-25 albums under the belt spanning 5 decades with no sign of throwing the towel in! Mick Box, Rob Halford and Biff Byford are mid 70's now!. 😉

Yay and Yay thrice yay , Great band or what ??? Have not heard this for a while . You just cant beat early 70s Rock . This one is quite Purple eque ! which cant only be a good thing . Yep proper enjoyed this ! cheers for that .

'Uriah Heep' such a great rock band from the late '60s through the '70s, they're still going but had a few line-up changes over the years. They got their name from a character from 'David Copperfield' by Charles Dickens. This isn't one of my favourites by them, but it's okay.

Love 70's prog music. If you two lovely people would like to check out a very underrated 70's prog band, check out Camel 🐫. I would suggest Lady Fantasy or Stationary Traveller which has some of the most beautiful guitar work ever

I would probably have liked Uriah Heep more of I hadn't seen Spinal Tap first, but even when the music is pretty good, I find it hard to take them seriously. But in the 1970's, they weren't far behind Deep Purple and Black Sabbath in terms of popularity among rock fans, and I think Ritchie Blackmore might have "borrowed" some ideas from them when it came to founding Rainbow.

I never really got into Uriah Heep. I like this one but not overly and i like much of what i have heard although i have never been tempted to delve deeper with them. As was previously mentioned, this is pretty much like Deep Purple. Like you, the video really distracted me.

Musicians loved this band but 🇺🇸 radio didn't. They were pretty big in Europe. It's heavy rock ! 👍

Fantastic song, great version, but video not so good. And they managed to survive the Punk backlash against prog dinosaurs, still providing excellent albums to this day. I can quite happily play Uriah Heep alongside The Damned, The Stranglers, Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Dead Kennedys etc. All great music.

I’m 💯 convinced that in their respective bedrooms , disappointed future artists like The Ramones , Joe Strummer , John Lydon , Dave Vanian , Chris Bailey (RIP) , David Johansen , David Byrne and Pete Shelley all thought at the same time “ right that’s it - this bollocks is the final straw , I bet I could do better myself ! “… and they were ALL proved correct IN MY OPINION .. ! This is next level dreadful and I’m now away to punish myself for listening to it by eating a whole Trifle and having a cry till I find my happy place and put the memory of having listened to this cack-fest in to a box , welding up the lid of the box , putting the box in the boot of one of cols exotic old bangers and pushing it off the end of the cliffs at Beachy head into the English Channel , never more to taunt me with its hellish banality … hope you don’t think I’m sitting on the fence with this one …👀 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Have you fully got over that experience ?? the Trifle or Uriah Heep ? Glad you have made your mind up . Hay have a good one Jay , Im off in the Garage to find Narnia . I think its near my Triumph !!

I'm not a huge fan of Uriah Heep. This is okay but not something I would choose to play.
