I think both are risky the best idea is to boil the half coconut shell in less water and high flame for 5 mins and then the whole white flesh can easily be removed out instead on wasting money on this electrical product. These days there is no gurantee on electronic products

But still we wont buy this product. Its useless if you dont use coconut frequently in kitchen. Also quite risky to use. U might get hurt yourself .

Coconut is daily consumed almost everywhere in India..In south India they use cocunut in every recipe or chatni..in Bengali cuisine we use it not only in winter, but also in different festivals like laxmi puja etc..I was thinking of buying a manual one.but this product is also nice..

I think for attaching & removing the blade to the machine we can just do that while the blade is inside the case...that would be more convenient.

Better purchase a wet grinder for around 3K with coconut scrapper attachment and enjoy the benefits of grinder and scrapper...

It requires some practice. Same applies to fixed coconut scrapper. Big grinders for restaurants will have this feature by default. I have fixed one and works well for me. This may be good for a big family or for someone who runs a restaurant.

I bought this product few days back and i like it but the draw back is the blade once fixed to remove to clean it's very tough and secondly even if we keep a big plate while grating it makes a mess all around the plate also.The blade should have been longer ....over all it's ok product

This is a great product. Its just a matter of developing the skill to use it effectively. Like many I too was not sure on how to use it. But eventually learned to use it and I love it. You should use the provided blade holder to remove the blade. Switch off the device from plug and give it a rotational jerk in the same rotational direction of the blade when it operates on electricity and the blade will come loose. Do not try to remove the blade with your bare hands.

Very difficult to use. Normal scrapper is better. Blades are not sharp, so you have to use your muscle power. It has a vacuum fix on bottom, it will stop working after few days. Because of it's stupid safety feature the machine stops working once the vacuum stand stops working. We stopped using it in a month.

The machine is good. Not risky. Not harmful blades. But the coconut gratings are not directly coming to the plate kept below, it is throwing everywhere. Hence very bad
