Scope Lens increases "basic attack critical hits", so does it actually increase the Wicked Blow crits?

Great question! It seems the items sometimes have misleading descriptions and its hard to discern whats actually going on. From what ive gathered the base attributes of the item are not included in the description and are additional stats/abilities. For example "Wise Glasses" give +39 Sp. Atk base + Increase Sp Atk by 7%. So both apply. With this in mind I believe Scope Lens gives the base +6% Crit rate with +12% Crit damage, with the addition of Crit damage on basic attacks (which is calculated based on your current Atk... Unfortunately there is no value scale to determine the percentage). So the base Crit Dmg boost +12% is for basic and special attacks. However the Crit boost in description is only for basic atk. Hope this helps.

Fwii, just a heads up that Mathcord found out Scope lens doesn't recognize his wicked blow gauranteed critical hits properly, so it's not recommended. I think they propose Razor claw instead to help with boosted.

To clarify - you get the Scope Len's +12% critical damage but apparently you do not get the Scope Lens' passive (+75% of attack stat when doing a basic hit crit) because Wicked Blow is not considered a basic hit
