I forgot to rate Amber Emerald Hyper Discard. I think that deck is B, possibly A tier. Probably closer to B tier since board wipes are common in the format.

Amethyst Emerald is not a joke either. They get Blue Fairy, Fairy Godmother shift, Yzma shift, Diablo and Pegaus floodborns. Peter Pan Shadow Finder is great Diablo removal and almost indestructible against Blue Red I think thst ultimately Green Steel is going to win. I am not sure you can really count out any deck playing Steel in this Meta.

I was just telling everyone at my locals about Emerald/Steel. You have to open nuts or perfectly with a Diablo, big Diablo, Bucky, and ideally an action as well plus floodborns to get off Bucky's ability. If I don't hut those curves, I usually just lose. I could play better too, but the deck requires some crazy conditions to work properly.

Interesting that you put Emerald/Steel as A tier. I imagine a ton a of people will play that deck.

could you make an emerald/saphire deck on dreamborn? - i’ve tried to make one as the ward factor is intriguing especially with sardine can as well, but with testing it the absence of steel songs is what hurts, ursula just doesn’t really have a place in the deck without them either

Sapphire/steel is great but I completely agree with you about needing to be piloted properly. You say it has a good matchup into emerald/steel, which it does, but I've always said it can also be its own worst enemy against discard decks. You ink too much and then they get you to discard, then suddenly you are out of cards. I still think the aggro decks are the worst ones for sapphire/steel and where I tend to struggle, like ruby/amethyst.
