im kinda amazed at the chemistry that uruguay had with the number of world class no 9s they had in a squad at the same time. argentina have rarely found that kind of cohesiveness, but somehow no matter what pair (forlan/suarez, forlan/cavani, suarez/cavani) they’ve always made each other look better. edit: speaking on chemistry between CFs, not the team as a whole of course

Not many people know this, but Uruguay are actually 4 time world champions. The 1924 and 1928 football Olympics were organised by Fifa and recognized as a world championship tournament. Uruguay won both of these tournaments. This is the reason they have 4 stars on their crest.

Back when we had Forlán, we used to dominate long distance and corner hits, our players never were that tall yet we dominated on the "air game" (goals using our heads or when the ball was in the air without the need to put it down before hitting), so this is pretty accurate indeed!
