Liverpool of Uruguay is not going to sell the player for less than than 15 million dollars for the 70% of the player, that’s what I love about Liverpool president he knows the value of their players and don’t give it for pathetic prices like Peñarol did with Valverde to Real Madrid or Boston River to Barcelona for Araujo, they sold their players for less than 5 millions, is just ridiculous and sad

That these players are spending the whole of their best years, and then some, playing outside a starvingly poor uruguayan league, is already ridiculous and sad, my friend. Nobody would believe the home pitches of uruguayan clubs, including Liverpool's.

Players like Luis Suarez, Cavani, Forlan, Valverde, Darwin Nuñes, Recoba, etc. came from those fields. Imagine if European clubs paid fair and reasonable prices, the better the soccer fields, the league and even more players would come from Uruguay a country of just 3.4 million people.@@magopiendibene

@@Andriago Well all I care is seeing mi club win a Libertadores and World Championship, because I don't have any delight thinking how many players my club is providing for Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool or PSG. I don't give a f... about them. All my pleasure derives from seeing my club earn some glory. And as far as the uruguayan league remains a faithful provider of young talent for Europe, Brazil, Argentina, etc, those titles are gonna remain in the past. And it is already antiquity by now. The great damage is for the passionate fans of these ( once ) great, glorious clubs. They are living on emergency food, getting happy with a national championship, getting thrashed by any other southamerican club and seeing those players win a Champions League .
