US' $34 Trillion Debt Threatens an Imminent Global Market Upheaval | Vantage with Palki Sharma
The growing national debt of the US poses a threat to markets worldwide. According to Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan Chase, Washington's debt is at $34.14 trillion, or almost $100,000 per US resident. Dimon claims that this is pushing the economy in the direction of a "cliff." Palki Sharma explains how this debt bomb has the potential to set off a global crisis.

America is the most notable but if you look at it, this is not a US specific issue. Its basically near global. The US is just the biggest high light because 1. Its the US 2. They make increasing the limit a major world event for political reasons such as walls and etc instead of just doing it automatically. 3. It has the biggest debt The only president to have a balanced balanced budget in the last 100 years was kennedy i believe. The rest is just more debt, but because of GDP growth and price inflation it was never to big of a issue.

@@freetibet8140 Oh yeah if you go per capital then all these countries that are literally going bankrupt are far worse. Not to down play that the US's debt vs income is probably near if not the worst of the first world. The issue is the US is the number 1 economy in the world, a vast amount of the consumer base, basically the world police, and has the world currency. So if it has a issue, everyone has a issue.

The U.S. economy relies on ongoing credit and debt generation for sustenance. The Federal Reserve is expected to increase the money supply, leading to further debt accumulation for the average American. Meanwhile, foreign nations continue to desire the U.S. dollar, despite their own economies facing significant challenges, some even worse than that of the U.S. This situation raises concerns about who will ultimately bear the consequences of these economic dynamics.

I actually agree for once. I wonder though with all we have actually done, heroes and villians in our ranks alike, if it didn't make some small change? We saved so many and yet handed it all back to so much evil. The Taliban, the terrorists, hell even Iran all got a win the day Biden pulled out. So many families that were helping us and folks there that wanted us to win got thrown right back into that. Russia even now when Ukraine is so close to that win sitting there smiling as America says we can't do it anymore. It's maddening when we try to help the good guys but all it takes is shitty media telling us we need to quit. Were going too far, it feels so stupid off us not to see that we aren't working alone against these dictators. The other countries they are helping Russia can be beat, the terrorists are not going to win, and well America doesn't have to give up just because dictators tell us to. I've seen alot as a veteran and as an American I'm not ready to give up I just wish more people understood or maybe help me understand why I should.

Managing the debt is about managing the deficit. If the deficit goes down to zero or is in surplus, then the debt to GDP ratio will decline as long as the economy is growing. The US is expecting to record about a $1 trillion deficit in the 2023 fiscal year. Now, three things can help bring the budget into surplus: 1) increasing corporate tax receipts from 1.6-2 % of GDP, which will raise about $110 billion/yr. This can be achieved by closing tax loopholes or increasing the corporate tax rate. 2) taxing the informal sector of the economy, which is about 9 % of GDP. By doing this the government will raise about $680 billion/yr, assuming a tax to GDP ratio of 27 % and GDP size of $28 trillion. 3) reforming the healthcare system. The US spends about 18 % of GDP on healthcare, which is nearly twice as much as the OECD average. The US can reduce the cost of healthcare by funding free general practitioners to see patients. By having a free doctor to see patients, patients will see doctors about minor problems before they get really bad, reducing the cost of healthcare and hospitalization rate.

For those who don't know history.Philistines don't own the part of land they calling Palestina. Israelite kings ruled over parts of the historical region corresponding to modern-day Palestine in ancient times. Some notable kings include David and Solomon, who are described in biblical accounts as ruling over a united kingdom. However, over time, the kingdom split into the northern Kingdom of Israel and the southern Kingdom of Judah, each with its own line of kings. The specific rulers varied, and the region witnessed shifts in power and control by different empires throughout its history.

According to some of the population, we can print wealth on paper and pass it around for real things nobody is producing. So you see, only a select few have claimed they are allowed. These select few only share with another select few. And these select fews today have become mega wealthy under this monetary system you been using your entire life, called fiat.

Debt is a *on paper accounting game* to control the entire worlds economy. To me, i have 1000 rs and distributed il under a to z types of loans and admin/war/expenditure per say. The hypothetical interest upon threats to it recovery. For actual 1000 rs it shows a bubble of 100000 or even more. That 1000 remains in the country itself only the pockets keeps changing. Likewise, most of the countries are in heavy debt crises. Its the accounting principles lead and set by first world to determine the value of the economy. In all senses, they - the first world are always right and rest are never born. This thread of series of easy money lending leads to blackhole trap for billions and only few gets benefitted through. The globalisation was well set trap to control economies through the mysterious accounting system that works far better than anything else. De globalisation is the only option left to adopt and to march towards domestic economy, we can do wonders but most of the countries have gone far ahead. Going independent is not an easy decision, otherwise 90% farming, 4% industry, 1% education, 5% culture based economy would be ideal to survive and thrive.
