You know how the US has called Russia a gas station? The US is the weapon factory. And just cutting off Russia's gas/oil exports would greatly harm their economy the same is true for the US weapons industry. Too much of the US's economy relies on weapon production and sales. This isn't about winning a war with Russia or with anyone else for that matter, the US NEEDS constant conflict just to avoid their economy from collapsing. Even if tomorrow every nation the US is in conflict today would surrender on US's terms there would be a new the day after.

Leitenant Daniel with all due respect, there was no "bad performance by Russia" in the first year of the war. Their objective was to force a settlement early on which they almost did in Istanbul before the west told Ukraine to not go ahead with it. After that they had to organize themselves for a longer war which is what they did. By the end of 2023 Russia had already destroyed two Ukrainian armies (the original Nato prepared army and the second constituted of ex Soviet states armoured vehicles, tanks and planes).

whenever someone tells me that Putin wants to invade Western Europe (I'm Western European), I can immediately tell they have no idea about Russian life. My two best friends are Russian and in their hometown Rostov (which is quite a huge city, may I add, with 1.1mill inhabitants), they were middle class and still had to live 3 adults and 2 teenagers on 65sqm and 2bedrooms. I don't think anyone except for the US itself (and maybe China) has the ressources to invade Western Europe.

I think the question needs to be asked, what is Europe being protected from? There is not one nation that is acting in the capacity of aggressor towards Europe-not one now and not one on the horizon. It is the rest of the world that needs protection from the Europeans. The rest of the world is simply attempting to make the best possible economic/social lives for their populations that they can. The aggression has emanated now for a very long time from Europe/America-not the rest of the world. So again I ask, what is Europe being protected from?

If at all it comes down to face to face negotiation, I don't think Putin will even talk to Zelensky. Putin will demand another representative from Ukraine.

Anyone who has ability to think rationally knows these facts regarding Ukraine and Russia. 1.Russia has and will always be mightier than Ukraine 2.Ukraine being the lesser nation would have naturally(though begrudgingly) coalesced to Russia's demands had it not been for American interference. 3.America interfered by convincing Ukraine that "They could help them defeat Russia" 4.America only used Ukraine to help their military contractors and manufacturers make money. They also used Ukraine to help the American Military Industrial Complex to steal and launder money from the American public. 5. America knew from the beginning they were not going to bring Ukraine into NATO but they engaged in this falsehood with the full cooperation of Zelinsky who has profited handsomely from the deception/grift and all it cost him was a couple hundred thousand dead Ukranians. America's role in provoking this conflict is just a despicable but normal act for America because since America has surrendered it's soul to the Oligarchs they outsource EVERYTHING. They don't care about the "out of work" American's. They have no allegiances to American people, they only care about producing goods using the CHEAPEST labor source and charging the most money for it. America creates NOTHING except weapons of mass destruction. And they use the CIA to foment discord all around the World so they can sell weapons to both sides. Period.

Nato has been training Ukrainian troops in Grafenwohr ( near Nuremburg) every 2 or 3 months last year... this year: no training at all. Lack of manpower maybe?

@23min, as a French, i can see to whom this war benefits: the usa. Interms of weapons sales, in gaz sales that we now buy to usa 3 times more than the russian gaz before.
