In this episode I visit Fink's Hoagie located 4633 Princeton ave. Philadelphia, (Northeast Philly) Owner Fink is a USMC Vietnam Vet and is set out to be the best hoagie shop in Philly. It didn’t hit me until I watched this video right here. JL Jupiter is a nice guy man if the streets had his mannerisms nobody would get hurt or shot we would be able to live & love ❤️ in peace ☮️. This inspires me to pursue more happiness

Finally a foodie blog that does the whole city.Thanks for supporting the vets. Tour of duty with the 3rd Marine in Okinawa and yes I wanted Tastykake. I had my family send me a care package once a month. Tastykake travels better than a Hoagie or steak. He's a little trivia for everybody. They say the term "hoagie" came about with the Italian immigrants who used push carts and would serve sandwiches to Hog Island shipyard workers. The island is isolated and if you didn't pack a lunch you didn't eat. They would announce there arrival by yelling (in broken english) to the worker "Hoggies". Which mutated to our beloved "Hoagie". Second trivia: Has anybody ever knock a ball outta Vet's Stadium? No, not old number 19 Gregg (the bull) luzinski. That would be a righteous guess. No one has hit one out of Veterans Stadium, Willie Stargell from the Pittsburgh Pirates blasted a solo homer to the 700 level, hitting just below the Liberty Bell. Another 4 feet in elevation it would have been in the parking lot. They put a star on the wall where it hit on the wall. JL keep the faith, loving your work....TY.

I recently lost my uncle to covid. He was a Vietnam veteran as well SPC4 Leslie B. Begay. He served two years in Vietnam, Sept 28, 1966 - July 2, 1968

I once said "thank you for your service" to a vietnam veteran and since I'm a young kid, I thought he would be like "you have no idea what I've done for this country and never truly will." But instead he was spritely and said "oh, you are very welcome!" I was so touched.
