Models included MH-60R Seahawk, MH-93E Black Stallion, AH-1Z Viper, AH-64 Apache, UH-60B Blackhawk,
This is a video of a set of my 1:72 scale US Military helicopters. Here is included the following:
- MH-53E Black Stallion 1:72 scale Anti Mine Helicopter (Largest US MIlitary operational helicopter)
- AH-1Z Viper attack helicopter (new, upgraded US Marine attack helicopter)
- MH-60R Seahawk ASW, SAR, Search, anti-shipping helicopter
- UH-60L Blackhawk Support, Calvary, and SAR/Attack helicopter
- AH--64 Apache Attack, anti-personnel, anti-armor attack helicopter (The best all around attack helicopter in the world (though the Kamov Ka-52 Alligator Russian helicopter, gives a good secpd [;ace, the Russians just do not have the money to buy very many, about 100 in total over the last 25 years, where the US has produced 900 for itself, and 1,200 for 16 of its allies)
These helicopter models are available from many companies. Testors, Hasegawa, Revell, Hobby Master, New Ray, Americom,
All of these helicopters are armed and equipped with the best armaments (from 20mm to 30mm chain guns, to Hellfire missiles to Zuni Rocket pods, to strong electronic counter measures, to strong infrared and other sensors, the best communications gear, to the best all glass and cintuall upgraded glass cockpits, to very new and well equipped gear for their purposes whether landing troops, to huntin and destroying mines, tanks, armored personnel carriers, to SAR equipment, virtually a flying ICU room.
I have the anti-mine tow behind carriage for the MH-53E Black Canyon on one of my USS Independence 1:350 scale vessels...and it is impressive. This huge helicopter will fit on an Independence and in its hanger, the LCS, the FF and the FFG versions of the Independence. The US Navy has finally upgraded (or in the process of doing so) so they are very well armed in the FF (Fast Frigate) and the FFG version...which can be upgraded from the LCS. Find that video on my channel and take a look. Here, on https youtube watch?v=ekBlhh2SmSM
The US Navy is also building a new 20-25 Ship full on Missile Frigate (FFGx) which is looking at four competitors which will be decided this year. I believe the ship pointed towards Bath Iron Works and the Australian Hobart mixture will end up winning, It is fully AEGIS and very well armed with a 48 Cell Mk-41 launcher, AEGIS APRAS, and the full suite of communications and will be Cooperative engagement forward to the Burkes and Tico (and ultimately the new CGx) and backward to these smaller FFGs, particularly the new FFGx.
These helicopters will make a great addition to them all.
Many model companies supply these in 1:72 gear, down to even 1/16 scale, which makes for HUGE and very detailed models. It also makes them very expensive at that scale and so I save y money for the large 1:350 scale ships. I find the 1:350 scale detailed and large enough for the LAC,FFG, and support vessels, up to the DDG, CG (Cruiser) and especially the aircraft carriers and large amphibious assault ships (LHD, PLH, CH, PHL, LPD, etc.
And I have a lot of them.
Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoyed this video and all of the many aircraft and military vessels I have videos of on my Jeff Head Military aircraft ad shipping channel. They are there for information, interest, comparisons, and your informative and relevant comments. No swearing or any form of racist or anti-country bashing will be allowed.
But do please feel welcome to subscribe and ask your friends to do the same. My latest shipping video are four videos (three of which I have completed regarding the building of the new JMSDF Class of Asahi destroyers. The Janese make exceptionally squared away can capable vessels from their small missile boats up to their large Izumo carriers, Hyuga Carriers, Musami LPDs and their AOR support vessels,
So have fun watching, and my God bless you and yours.
