Many things may surprise you when visiting US Navy Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. For example, this elite military school has breathtaking architecture, some of the highest-paid graduates in the country, strange traditions (first-year students can't take shortcuts and should walk on perpendicular lanes only, not not mention never enter through middle doors of the magnificent Bancroft Hall).
