The US Presidents dive into the jungle depths to play a wild game of Mario Party 8 in DK's Treetop Temple! As the party goes on, the chaos multiplies, and the ending is truly one of the plot twists of all time! And this all happened organically and no retakes were done! 🙌 This was such an epic project that I'm super happy to finally release! The project started a couple months ago with the thought of doing a video on Mario Party 8, because it is one of my favourite games of all time, a true childhood classic for me. After doing some planning and running some tests, I was excited to see that online multiplayer Mario Party 8 through Dolphin Netplay was viable (even without wii remotes for those who wouldn't have one), so there would be no need for CPU players. 🤖 However, we discovered that Dolphin Netplay started to struggle when running with a full 4 player party, and the game became too choppy to turn into a video. But then we tried out Parsec, and amazingly, it worked like a charm! 🌟 And over the past several weeks, I've been cookin' this video up, and let me just say: this project was HUMONGOUS! 1102 voicelines, and nearly twice as long as my previous longest video! Here's an image of what the project looks like in my editor if you're curious: imgur.com/a/eVr0b39 💥 From the start of the whole project to the end, I spent around 200 hours, but I'm super happy with how it ended up. And I really hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did making it! And if you're curious on the statistics of the party, the screenshots of the details pages are in the description. 📃 Also, if you're wondering why the game looks much better than usual, it's because I have used x3 native resolution upscaling in Dolphin, MP8 widescreen hack (which is also why there are a few graphical issues on the edges of the screen at certain sections), and an HD texture pack which is linked in the description if you'd like to check it out yourself. 👌

Mario Party 8 is a very nostalgic game for me and this is my favorite party board, so to see the presidents have fun playing something I had fun playing is a treasure. Considering the success this video has achieved and how many people enjoyed it, I definitely want to continue the series. Good video with the puns, wordplays and poertry but ngl the the fact that it's only a 10 turns game really hurts the board shenanigans(don't know how to spell this word), maybe if you skip the Goomba Board and directly go to the other more experimental boards these videos would be a bit more exciting. If this video does well, I will definitely do more! I'd like to do all the boards and perhaps even some specials like tag team battles (2v2), I think that could be fun as well. As of right now, this video is seemingly doing well, but in a much different pattern than usual. Typically videos get a spike on day 1 and then slowly climb from that, but this video never got a spike, and instead is climbing at the same pace everyday since day 1. Longer videos like this take a loooong time to make, but if this viewership pace keeps up I can justify spending a bunch more time to make another one! 😄

This is awesome, it’s as if they would actually be playing Mario Party 8, seen this on another comment, there not just cursing and yelling f bombs everywhere as the joke, they feel really realistic and not as AI-y as some people make them sound, super hilarious and amazing content as usual!

You may not have the subs like most but damn it you might be at the top with the consistent quality and that is something to be truly proud... P.s leaderboard is coming and trust me as I say... it is fucking close
