You honestly call yourself an American? Really think about all this. He was basically a kid scared they where shipping him home to an article 15 and dishonorable discharge for beating up a Korean. In his mind and kinda true his life was over before it started. His leadership failed him. This is why America is falling. Everyone so fast to throw someone under the bus or stab someone in the back. Out of the frying pan and into the fire. If he's lucky they'll want to use him for positive propaganda, if not someone should tell him what happened to Otto Warmbier.

In my days at Coleman Disciplinary Barracks Soldiers who are being sent back state-side for disciplinary reasons are always escorted on to the plane. Maybe this is the result of the kinder, gentler Army.

He better be more polite than an English butler lol Kim Jong-Un isn’t going to mess around … I will advocate for this soldier … ASK KIM JONG UN politely… if he lets him come home … I’ll work on redesigning equipment for his military and offer him my service for a period of time… I’ll graciously accept any role politely for this soldier’s life…

Why was an American soldier on active duty allowed to sit in a South Korean prison for 48 days? He should have been subjected to UCMJ not the host country?
