I get you, I once was full of fear also, and I had been a Christian for a long time. But through some circumstances that would have destroyed me, God gently taught me who He is. A tornado destroyed my home, and that was just another awful situation in a long line of one catastrophe after another. I had reason to be afraid, or so I thought. Study Scripture on fear and anxiety. When you come to God in prayer and ask sincerely for His forgiveness, Gid forgives you, and don’t even remember that sin. He puts it as far away from Him as the east is from the west. Meaning, He will not remember what in the heck your talking about when you come to Him over and over about the same old same old!!!
