Me and my sister (29 &30 years old) just got approved for F2B (Family based) after 5 years of waiting from Israel (My parents are permanent resident in USA). Now we're waiting for the Interview + Having the right documents. I wanted to know about any Financial statements: Everything is fine, but we have a debate about the question If they would ask me and my sister for any salary/bank/financial statements as they ask my parents (the petitioners). I know they need to do it as our sponsors, but I don't know about us. thanks!

My sis was not asked prior to her interview to make a letter and prepare some docs for F2B retention unlike you but since we watched your videos we prepared it just in case and they did asked for it. I just finished my interview as a f2b applicant with a naturalized citizen petitioner and they never asked for f2b retention letter, certificate of naturalization nor gave me a 221(g) form.

Ano po nakapasa po kami sa interview 1990 and 1992 Hindi kami nakarating sa America dahil sa plane ticket Hindi sinipot ng nanay ko yung letter ng embassy after we approved the interview. Now im 40 years old at ngayon palang irere activate Ang petition ko. Sana ma approved ulit. At salamat sayo sa mga info. Mo kc na reshesh ulit ako.😀 at malinaw kang Mag explain.

Na trauma na ako and dismaya sa Interview ko s US tourist visa... Di ko alam Kung Kung bakit kami na denied married na kami ng husband ko dito s Pinas... Then we had k1/K2 visa application before but we didn't pursue that one application Kaya nag decide yong husband ko ng tourist visa nalang para makavisit cla s US since vacation naman... Kaya Lang denied hahahay!

Hi. You mentioned here in the comments that you were already passed 21yrs on your first petition. My family was petitioned in 1997 when I was still 14-15years old, I am turning 38 now so based on my actual age I am already aged out and not eligible for the visa. Anyway, Based on my research there is a certain CSPA law that freezes “childs” ages when they are petitioned and there is a CSPA formula (actual age - years the petition was pending = CSPA Age) to get your CSPA age. There is a CSPA calculator available online btw. My CSPA age is 15 which makes me eligible, so I am hoping I can immigrate with my parents. Mu question is, when were you petitioned on your first petition? Because I believe petition made before Aug 6, 2002 will protect children from aging out.

After completing the requirements for F2B retention, did you just send it thru 2go courier service? or did you personally go to the US embassy? Hi Lex! Your videos are helpful Thank you so much. Lex, maybe you can give me ideas about F3 category. Here's our situation, my husband has been petition was filed in 2013 (he was still single at that time) by his parents. Then my husband and I got married last 2018, but prior to that my parents in-law did an update to the NVC that their son is getting married so that the petition which was filed on 2013 will not be void. So, last year May 2021 we received a letter from NVC that the petition of my husband was approved. Then my husband was told that he needs to make an acct at CEAC portal and send a mail to NVC. He was told also that within 48 hours he should received a reply. But unfortunately there was no reply. So my inlaws decided to consult to a lawyer, and my husband was told that it might take another 5 to 8yrs of waiting. Lex, maybe you have an idea why it would take that long? Is't maybe bec he is married now and that has something to do with the petition bec it was modified. Or just maybe beac of the backlogs from the embassy? Pls enlighthen me 🙏 Thank you so much in advance. God Bless
