The other big lie here is that Democrats used to support strong borders, they used to say all the same exact things that Trump has said, there is videos of it you can find it if you look. Wanting strong borders is not racist it’s putting Americans that are here 1st. The immigrants that have gone through the proper legal processes should be prioritized. Helping others has a cost, a huge flow of low skilled worker hurts the jobs and lowers wages of the Americans that are here.

They want to ban speech they don't like. Polls show that most people reject CRT even blacks. they lie about guns too, they use misleading stats or poorly done studies. They count suicides in with gun violence etc, they never talk about how guns save lives, how just showing a gun stops crime. The est gun have over 2 million defensive usages per year. There was a turning point when John F Kennedy in a political strategy move, pulled some strings to get Martin Luther King out of jail and made a 90second phone call to mlk’s wife with a few comforting words. At the time Kennedy and his advisers thought it would cost him the election, but he only suffered minor fall out by the white voters. Nixon, Who had a good relationship with king, made a big mistake by not reaching out. King released from jail had a profound impact on the black community. Unleashing a wave of support for Kennedy. Lyndon Johnson was quoted saying all have then N____ers voting democrat for the next 200years. 1964 Lyndon Johnson got credit for passing the civil rights act and voting rights act which in reality it was the Senate Republicans that were responsible for passing it a higher % of Republicans voted for it then Democrats. It was Republicans led by Everett Dirksen who got them passed. Democrats opposed it with one of the longest filibuster’s ever.

Mark, you're getting way too hung up on the democrat/republican aspect of this. Wallace was a conservative democrat who campaigned for "states rights" and for taking power away from the federal government (the same campaign Ronald Reagan ran in 1980). There used to be both conservatives and liberals in the Democrat and Republican parties. Bobby Kennedy was a liberal Democrat from the north and had the complete opposite politics of Southern Democrats like Wallace.

He championed "states rights" and wanted to take power away from the federal government. You are projecting your modern view of the two party system onto the 60s, which were a very different time. The Dems and GOP both had liberals and conservatives in both parties. Bobby Kennedy and George Wallace were both Democrats, but they had polar opposite views on the role of government and civil rights. Barry Goldwater and Nelson Rockefeller were both Republicans, but Goldwater was a conservative and Rockefeller was a northeastern liberal. It wasn't yet the case that the two parties were split ideologically. Wallace ran as an Independent in 1968. In 1972, President Richard Nixon convinced him to run as a Democrat because Nixon did not want a repeat of Wallace's success in 1968 as a third party. Nixon knew that if Wallace ran, Wallace would take votes away from Nixon, not the Democrat Johnson. Nixon and Wallace both railed against liberals in their campaigns and used the slogan "law and order" to signal their opposition to civil rights protests.

@@blastermanr6359 There was a turning point when John F Kennedy in a political strategy move, pulled some strings to get Martin Luther King out of jail and made a 90second phone call to mlk’s wife with a few comforting words.

Yes, until he turned Independent. Democrats in the South and specifically like Dixiecrats, founded by later turned Republican Storm Thurmond, were supportive of things like segregation, were pro confederate, etc. They switched to Republican around the time of the 60s-70s, with events like the Civil Rights Movement and the Southern Strategy. The platforms switched. You can see this in electoral maps of the US over decades, where the South was solidly Democrat, then turned Republican. I mean, which party flies confederate flags and defends confederate statues in modern day, which party has the support of white supremacist groups like the KKK and Neo Nazis? The infamous "Unite the Right" white supremacist rally that resulted in a Neo Nazi terrorist attack? Open white supremacists have been running Republican. Arthur Jones ran for Congress, Paul Nehlen ran for Congress, John Fitzgerald ran for Congress, Corey Stewart ran for Senate, Russell Walker ran for NC House of Representatives, David Duke ran for Senate, etc. Not downplaying the racism of the Democratic party today of course. Like the segregationist Joe Biden who helped write segregation laws and war on drugs laws, hung out with Republican segregationists like Strom Thurmond, and all of his messes. Obama deported the most people out of any president and happily oversaw the horrors of concentration camps (showing the hypocrisy of white liberals not caring when it's their team in charge), he did nothing about Flint's water, he cracked down on police brutality protests and called protesters thugs (again, liberal hypocrisy). Nancy Pelosi thanking George Floyd for "sacrificing his life for justice". War on Drugs, Mass incarceration, militarizing police, Etc. Malcolm X had a point about white conservatives being wolves and white liberals being foxes. No matter what, they’ll both eat you.

The southern states have higher rates of poverty & poor access to Health Care. Being "Poor"/economically disadvantaged does not discriminate. poor Whites & Poor AF Americans are disadvantaged. Everyone is focusing on "RACE". Current thoughts are to increase taxes on the wealthy etc. This is where: Society Needs to collaborate & fix what's broken. Not Tear' it apart. I was a Kid in the 60's (White) & forced to go to an AF American school with the forced busing thing. I didn't learn anything. I think that "taking" away anything from any citizen is an infringement on their personal rights. No policies/ laws should restrict any person's right to an appropriate education &/or job opportunity just to "Balance" the Field. I Do not think Pres. Trump is a Racist. I think people in America' are trying to make him a racist. "SEE".
