US women’s soccer team lifts the 2015 FIFA World Cup trophy at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver

9 жыл бұрынIn a rematch game of 2011 Women’s World Cup finals, the American women won 5-2 over defeating World Champion, Japan in a fast paced game of 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup final on July 5, 2015. The game did not slow uniting the final whistle with both teams giving all the best keeping everybody jumping out of their seats. The attendance was somehow over 53,000 and mostly taken by American soccer fans that rocked the stadium with celebration.

Thanks so much for posting this! The DVS (Disembodied Voice in Stadium) belongs to me (in other words, I was the PA announcer) and I'd been looking for a souvenir of that day. I was stationed on the field during the match, and got to banter with some of the fans -- including some young women who'd come up from Kentucky and had booked their seats the previous September.

+Drew Snider I am very glad you found this video. I wanted to sit on the other side of the stadium to be facing all the celebrations but was sold mistakenly other seat . You probably had a lot of fun as I did.

Looking back over this again ... funny story (not at the time): your video starts with me announcing Japan, to come and receive their medals, but I jumped the gun and announced them before my cue -- i.e. before others were ready for them to come up. The Head Badger with FIFA had a litter of kittens (pardon the mixed metaphor) and came down like a ton o' bricks on the woman who was supposed to give me my cue ... so in the moments that followed, I had to draw the Boss' fire away from her ... ah, the joys of "going live"!

+Brent Davis Thanks for your comment. I do not know the song but would be glad to learn what song it was. One thing I learned is how to say Japan in Japanese.
