I can’t believe Koslowski dropped Marring and not included her in the Olympics line-up! She’s been consistent and has been showing up for the team in the past years especially during VNL 2024.

Judging by the size of Jordyn Poulter's kneebrace, it makes me think she may not be 100%. She was the key to the gold 4 years ago. Carlini is excellent but I'd love to see Poulter at full strength.

I know this was just a friendly and US was already up 3 sets ... but the final points (easy serve into the net, a set that was way too low given how far off the net the opposite was, ...) show that US may not be ready for harder competition.

I'm sorry I am rooting for USA hoping they get stronger and better, but it is really touch and go how they are playing against Netherlands. what will happen when they play a more seasoned teams.

they are just testing out combos I am sure. their team is still basically the same as 4 years ago. trying out the new players who graduated from college a while ago

The camera is too far away to catch the detail skill of both teams. It seemed team Netherland block very good. Tip ball gently to either btw hands, or to the side of hand to cause confusion. Similar to the strategy used by team Korea. It's not fair to judge team USA saying it cannot fight a weak team. There is no weak team in Olympics! Team Serbia lost to Dominica Republic. What do you think?

Bad voiced blab ruins the game. Also telescope footage from the back row makes it doubly boring. The awkward camera work makes for tired eyes and a sore neck.

Poor OHs for USA. They can not get a consistent outside ball to the antenna to save their life. Not even 2 sets in a row. Running a 6-2 halfway through each game is not helping either. You dont have to jump set everything. Especially if your back row setter only. Keep feet on the ground. Set a good ball to outside and let them swing. Way to many 2-handed tips.

Especially carlini like one set is way inside, the other is too off, and the next is a decent set... its really worrying that there is still no palpable improvement with her hitter connections.

@@oscorpio1365 yes Carlini is very inconsistent. Poulter is clearly far better with the hitters and that's why Micah is the alternate.

Baller TV is horrible, it cuts out freezes, we tried to watch theses Match's in France. Coverage was less than par, this announcer is, well had not idea between volleyball and baseball. Volleyball has no innings, no games, our sport is 3-5 "sets" winner wins sets then match

The team's performance in this game is worrying. The Netherlands is not a high-ranking team. The team does not have a solid defense, inconsistent blocking. Weak attack.😢

Beating the same team twice, much less THREE times is extremely hard for any team In the world. Netherlands is not necessarily a weak team either. They have a strong offense and decent servers, which in hand allows their block to come into position. Any team should be able to adjust after two straight losses to the same team, netherlands shows that.

Kiraly is either stubborn or his assistants really stink and are really bad. This USA team the way they play (very weak) may not get out of pool play or they will lose in the quarter final. But, if this US team plays for the gold medal, or win the gold medal at the Paris Olympics-- I will eat a bug!! I predict either Serbia, Italy, Or Poland will win the gold medal. But most likely Serbia will win the gold medal.

I've never played volleyball, but love watching. I've always wondered, how bad does it sting when the players block and the ball gets whacked into them? Does it leave bruises?

Few more weeks left and USA hasn’t improved. Plummer can’t keep up with the fast sets. Cook is unsure of her attacks most of the time. Only Poulter and JWO are the consistent in the team. At least in the first set. QF is probably their best finish in Paris. I’m guessing between Poland, Japan, Brazil or China will win the Gold (for now). Who knows if USA pulls out a surprise. I hope so 🤞🏻

USA 🇺🇸 Team sadly won’t be in contention for a medal …unless there’s something out of this world that might happen..but let’s face it , that won’t be the case…as for the ones in truly real contention for the podium are ITALY 🇮🇹, SERBIA 🇷🇸 , JAPAN 🇯🇵, POLAND 🇵🇱, TÜRKIYE 🇹🇷 and even Brazil 🇧🇷….about China 🇨🇳?……that’s another team that won’t be in contention for a medal ,they do have many issues with their players .

US Anthem instruments is always better than scream lungs out one person singing. This instrument version is not THAT good, but still better than screaming lungs out turn off voice!
