This game was rather disappointing. The Swedes were off their game. had been for a couple games going in to the final. The US were a decent team and found a way to play as a team. Something the Canadians never really were able to accomplish, hence the early exit. Hard work paid off for the US. Team play. Good, solid effort. But no question the best team in the tournament was the Swedes. Must have got a flu bug or something. Their game just fell apart. Same thing happened to the Slovaks. Came out looking fantastic...fell off the radar....but you could see a change in their play. Love the turn around the Fins showed. Disaster start. Fixed the problems. Only to get out worked by the Czechs for bronze. You want to talk about good games. Bronze game ....hands down... beauty game by both sides. Hats off to the Germans as well for stellar play.
