People seem to have forgotten about RALPH AMARABEM who was the leader of the band. Dan orji was the vocalist and he was the one who sang most of the.songs but was not the composer.

Dan Orji was the Vocalist, while Raph Amarabem was the band leader and the composer of most of the songs. Amarabem was prolific with the guitar and brought his Ghana Life experience to bear in the Peacocks International Band. However Dan Orji was more popular than the band leader and this is common among vocalists. Good vocalists are often times more popular than the band itself because the voice is the music.

Classic of an icon, may his soul rest in peace. We are blessed as people, my brother's from owerri extent do not allow evil people to distroy our God given heritage. I have always said your dilate is very unique for highlife music. I cherish it so much right from my child hood when we listen to IBC Owerri. Where ever we are let us not forget our root.
