Fritzi sabotaging Jill's performance, and one-upping her. Anna shows up 25 seconds into the clip.

If you haven't seen the movie Camp, it just makes this performance so much better. She plays a somewhat nerdy, quiet, shy, etc girl who is taken advantage of by the first girl. This scene is her transformation, also just awesome in general.

This performance absolutely stuns me. Sondheim in general is NEVER easy to sing and yet here you have a girl who is about 30 years too young to be playing this role, and she absolutely nails it. The tone of her voice, the facial expressions, the attitude - she completely captures the emotional mood of the song. I am beyond impressed.

Yes, it's definitely her singing - she was a broadway actress and actually was the second-youngest performer to ever receive a Tony nomination at age 12.

I love how you can basically read Anna's book with KZfaq by your side, and to go back and see most of the things she talks about. Like, you can even see her super high in painkillers during the Spirit Awards when Cate Blanchett won. And who else cried when she talks about her mom standing outside the theatre listening to the audience clapping for her at the end of High Society? Omg that always breaks me. Lol yeah, she was on Broadway when she was 12 and got nominated for a Tony Award for that. This movie is about a bunch of teens at a summer camp for musical theater. Her character was hilarious but didn't get as much screen time as I wished.
