小型とは言え大砲を連射できる様にした上で、大型艦や設置式どころか装甲車の砲塔に積めるのがやっぱりアメリカの技術力ですね。後追いでも追いつけないくらい安定して配備してるし、そこがやっぱり強いと思います。

最近知ったけど、30mmクラスの機関砲でもT-62以降の戦車は上面装甲すら抜けないらしい。かの有名なアヴェンジャー砲も、実はそれのおかげで戦車相手には使った事がないそうな。でもウクライナでT-72を機関砲で撃破してたよね…。

Multiple projectiles impacting the same point will usually penetrate. Hence the high firerate on 30mm gau. Like most modern MBT'S side armor is fairly weak about 80mm on sides of Russian tanks ,not including E.R.A/N.E.R.A.

この色の弾頭は、射撃訓練用の弾丸ですね。有事の際は劣化ウラン弾に代わるんでしょうね。破壊力はハンパないですから。

Usually around 120 to 200 depending on vehicle configuration. The longer the belt, the harder it becomes to lug it around when reloading the bins.

All looks very inefficient with ammo belts and finnicky looking loading system. Why couldn't they have a system with ammo already loaded in magazines ready to slot into place. Imagine trying to do all that with a couple of tanks firing at you.

There are some weapons which use magazines instead of belts but they are in no way superior to belt fed gun. I'd rather reload 200 rounds when out of engagement than having to switch magazine every 5-10 rounds in the middle of a firefight. Also, most of those systems have two feed port for quick switching between HEI and AP depending on target to be engaged.
