I saw if I remember correctly, the memory modules were literally made by hand and they were just basically weaved copper wires with iron rings or something or some sort of rings

It's crazy to believe that 60 years ago a man walked on the Moon with NO "computer power" and today when we have literally UNLIMITED computing powers we CAN NOT send anyone back there

Because we don’t have a reason to. Sending a man to the moon is faqing expensive. Plus, the only reason the Americans sent a man to the moon was to one up the Russians. Unless the Russian or the Chinese will send a person to the moon or other planet, humanity wouldn't reach another space milestone. Competition drives innovation.

We can send people and we do. India sent astronauts to the moon recently. We just have no reason to use all these resources to find nothing new

@@CivEtzioIndia did not land astronauts on the moon. It was an unmanned lander.

Building these rockets is expensive. Also we are currently working on going back.

The hard part of landing people to the moon is giving them a ride back to Earth. We've been sending rovers/probes there. They don't need a ride back.

There's different types of computing power For example you could have thousands of GPU cores but still be not worth more than CPU

I would trust the AGC, ove the computing power of that charger 10/10. Those old computers had crash protection and it can resume from the last calculation. These computers now wouldn't work the same way and would cause you to crash and die on the Moon.

I don't think you understood a word that left your mouth. That computer was specially built to do it's job and was decently reliable, yes. I would want an advanced computer more though because its more accurate, cheaper to make, and makes the astronauts' jobs easier.
