This video just saved me 100 euros. Apple was charging € 110 to replace it. Instead, I bought the replacement board in Amazon for €10 and did by myself, in 30min or less. Thanks for sharing!

mine connectors are a little bit burned, and the pc isn’t starting on at all, so if i will replace it maybe it will be fixed right? Or the problem could be the motherboard too?

Now my ports are functioning, but they are loose if that makes sense? The snap when you put the charger or external drive is longer there or very weak. Will changing the ports to new ports resolve this?

You probably just need to tighten some screws on the board, have you tried that?

I did this but now my MacBook won’t turn on. Not sure what could’ve gone wrong. I made sure to plug the battery back in

Maybe the new ports are faulty, did you try to put back the old one (assuming they were working)

@@HamadBenaicha I got it figured out. Even though my battery was nearly full charge, it didn’t turn on until I actually plugged it in. It went into a restart loop but eventually stopped
