this is insane. More than half these kids are probably huge Radiohead fans. Imagine when they got the email telling them that Radiohead wanted to play with them at the Grammys.

Was at the grammys and this was my favorite performance. It was awesome--truly. Only wish I had been down in the pit to see it closer.

@@nilimadas3137 Yes, if you have connections. For example, if your family member worked there, you'd be able to attend as a plus one (if they welcome you to)

If you were able to watch this version when it first aired on the Grammys, count yourself lucky. I saw it and have never forgotten it. To this day I still remember this version and always liked it better than the original. I have tried for years now and have found it very hard to find this Grammy performance on any sites( good quality at least).

because they figured the best way to ensure the marching-band thing worked out well was to give the arrangers as much room as possible to figure out how to play that difficult song. The vocals and the guitar had to be there, there was no way to duplicate those, but it shows a lot of respect for the marchers that Radiohead's own rhythm section sat out this one.

The main difference between Radiohead, and Coldplay.. One writes music to with the goal of producing art. The other writes music to hit the charts and collect a paycheck. It was so fitting that Gwyneth got to introduce her husband's hero.
