Use a sticky mat?? You need this hack…Never have a dirty ugly no stick mat ever again! Save $$$

My best tip for what works… if you can make Mac-tac or the dollar store brand of Mac-tac work that’s great. The down side there is the release paper can be flimsy making it a little more fussy to work with. A clear winner is any brand of transfer tape…Crikut(sp?) Oracle or dollar tree brand
NOTE****do not do this to your cutting machine mats. (Unless you are only using them for non cutting techniques)

Add a piece of the same to the back so it stays in place on your surface.

Love your hacks, Sharon..... I have an older Cricut mat cut to size in my Misti..... it is almost lost its sticky so on my next one I will do this.....unless I can get it to stick a little bit to put on the new hack!!!!

if you have some glue sheets Xyron or Altenew that type…clean your mat really well to remove all the bumps and lumps…don’t worry if it removes the rest of the sticky. let it dry …then apply the glue sheet to your mat…cut and apply a layer of Mac-tac or transfer tape over the glue layer…this will be the new sticky surface to your mat. to keep it perfect apply one more layer over the renewed mat, and this will be the layer you peel off and replace once it’s too mucky. no need to buy a new mat🤗😉💕💕💕

I got the Simon Say Stamp & Brutus Monroe sticky mat. I don't like how some of the sticky comes off of the mat and onto everything I peel off it.

You may find adding the layer of contact sheet or the transfer tape helps to end that problem😉💕💕💕

I saw Jennifer McGuire take a sticky mat from a electronic cutter like Cricut cut it to size and use it as a mat. B. Monroe seemed to havebthe mats show up after.

You are absolutely right ….Christopher Allen is no dummy. He has branded his mat for Simon Says, Gina K and I think Hero Arts. He used to work for CRICUT.🤗💕💕💕
