If I have a ChatGPT plus subscription do I still have to pay for this at some point?

Unfortunately, the app is not free any more... So you'll have to make a one-time purchase. The app uses your API key from OpenAl (ChatGPT). In the first few months after signing up for ChatGPT it's free, and after that you have to add a payment method in the API kevs section (!) of vour OpenAl account - but it's very cheap, 1000 executions of 100 words each will cost you roughly $0.30. I'd recommend setting a limit (which you can also do in the Settings) which ensures that you don't pay more than you want to each month (I've got it set to $2, which is way more than enough and I use it a lot). You only need a subscription if you want to use the new ChatGPT 4 model.

even after entering the api key inline function is not working. if i type /gpt something it gives just letter 'a'. can yo help me with this? a

It is necessary to have a paid ChatGPT license right? since it tells me "You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details."

Hey! Yes the inline fucntion /gpt does not work in word or macmail only in notes . Any knows why? It seems like you're having trouble with a specific application or

Hey, unfortunately it doesn't work in every app - I don't know why, but the creator of the app is aware of it - I've already seen a Reddit feed on it. Hope this is fixed soon.

Hey, the app uses your API key from your Open AI / ChatGPT account. Log in to platform.openai.com (not Chat GPT!), click your profile picture and select View API keys. Here, you can create a new one.
