The Complete Easy Step-by-step Process to Create a Composite or Change the Background Using Green Screen in Photoshop! We’ll examine how effective green screens are when it comes to extracting the subject from the background.
In this tutorial, we will learn how to use Advanced Color Range to remove the green background. Then, we’ll continue with some tricks and techniques to develop the perfect mask. In case your image has a green fringe around the edge, we’ll use selective Hue/Saturation to get rid of it easily.
Then, we will go in-depth into techniques that help us match the subject with the background. Learning how to create shadows, we’ll also learn a couple of ways to add special effects at the end to give the image an overall punch and feel.
Hope this video helps. Thank you for watching :)

Dude, I have been doing Photoshop for years and started following you recently. I have always told people there is no such thing as a Photoshop Master as there are so many ways to achieve a goal and I don't believe anyone truly masters Photoshop... Well smack me stupid! You sir are a Photoshop Master! Your videos are not only detailed and simply understandable but your grasp on PS and all it has to offer is remarkable. I learn so much from you, you can teach an old dog new tricks! Keep up the great work!

This is the ONLY tutorial of this length that I have watched till the end! Love how well explained it is! My favorite was the perspective, I enjoyed that a lot since that has always been a problem for me!! And the tilt & shift was really good too! Saved, liked, subscribed and I will be watching it again!

This is the first proper photoshop tutorial I have watched in years. KZfaq hasn't really recomended me any that would teach something I actually need. Altough I think the last changes you did in camera raw took a little away from the perfect color and light matching you did I think you did a really great job. This tutorial gave me some really good ideas to try. You have really professional way of editing and teaching.

Great tutorial. I also like that you used the worst case scenario, as far as green screen sources. The creases, the uneven lighting, etc. This would have been so much faster and easier if the screen were lit separately from the subject and without shadows and hot spots, and was stretched properly for no creases. Proper screen and subject lighting, and subject distance from screen, eliminates green spills. The fact that you took a really bad setup and fixed it in that state will help a lot of people. I like the philosophy of approaching it with the worst case scenario, because working backwards from that brings perspective and experience that's priceless. Your channel is amazing.

You never fail to amaze me and to other viewers as well. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Just a question though, what background do you recommend if not using greenscreen for photo compositing? I'm planning in creating a virtual studio and now makes me think on what color should be my background to minimize the time in compositing? Thank you so much! From Philippines!

I enjoy you're video's, I'm a photographer with 33 years experience, I learned a lot of my tricks in older versions that I have a difficult time leaving... but here is a tip for guys shooting their own subject and background... if you really want to make sure that the subject and background really work, then you should shoot both of them or have notes for somebody that does.. shoot the other part... and this rule is true for green screen with motion pictures... I find my background, and have a friend step into the frame, I prefocus there, then have the friend step OUT of the frame, and click the background.... I make notes of focus length, camera height, and lighting, I recreate the lighting in the studio, on the subject, and it's perfect....
