When you do this: absolute magic When I do this: You Died Dodge timing is impeccable. Im terrible at dodging, but i do love this build. Going to try it and attempt to not die horribly.

One change id recommend: use Alberich’s set for the chest piece and leggings. They both increase thorn sorceries

@@johnathonjewell692exactly! Which is the best part. It is doing exactly what was intended, so "patching" it wouldn't really be needed. It's very similar to the whole comet azur shit. Extremely high damage, just as intended.

It’s not just a weapon or spell, it’s how he dodge attacks and how he position his self in the battle, new player will still have a hard time using this skill or weapon even if it has massive damage. For new players it is better to use tank build

Yeah you can see he's pretty skilled in knowing how and when to dodge/jump and get in position to safely pull it off.

@@Scaduu yeah I noticed how he knew when and when not to cast. I myself would’ve casted the spell at times where the window was too small and would’ve gotten hit and interrupted

Thank you for the very constructive and accurate comment. I am using this build myself, lvl 285 and Radahn Consort is still very tough to beat....for this spell to be 100% effective you need to get very close so all 3 thorns hit the target. This makes bosses such as Scudatree avatar and radahn very tough UNLESS you are using tons of consumables or you dodge effectively. People who shout "nerf nerf" should pls consider this

Thanks for the build bro! I unfortunately killed Mohg before getting the mask so missed out on damage. :( It still melts everything though as long as you get your punish windows dialed. Done with Lion, Rellana, Hippo, Gaius, Messmer, Bayle and Romina. I do have to say though that outside of bosses it's probably my least favorite to play. I'm a STR goon at heart.

The Swordlance is pretty strong with a strength build. I used it instead of Mohg's spear because it out-damaged the bleed burst of Mohg's, even with a ton of arcane skill points.

I'm curious just how much damage this setup would deal at RL1 in the DLC. With Godrick's Rune, Marika Soreseal, arcane talisman and 2fingers talisman, you would have 25 faith and 25 arcane to, enough to use the staff and spell, but that only leaves you with 1 talisman out of the 4 recommended ones, so you would naturally see a power dropoff through those + lower stats. Still, I wonder just how viable it is. Going to give it a test run this week and see how it goes. I wasn't a huge fan of the 166 vanilla bosses at RL1 vs SL1 in prior fromsoft games, so any delicious cheese I can do to get the 42 DLC bosses over with, is fine with me.

@@theamazingjack1168 Maternal and Albinauric have better Arcane scaling, which is ideal for this build. Also, having the Staff of the Guilty in the off-hand ( non-casting hand) provides a passive buff to thorn spells. You don't want to cast with it because it'll do less damage than the Maternal or Albinauric staff, you just want to have it in your left hand while casting the spell with your right hand.

to kill all the bosses i used the bleeding build but with a twinblade with seppuku with morre than 2k atk with flame grant me strength and golden vow with the twinblade talisman the two-handed sword talisman and the talisman tha buff after blood loss with the head of varre was bleeding anything in 3 hits was absolute funny to play with but i still need to kill Midra.

They will probably make it throw the enemy or make it so that the tendrils can't all strike the same target. That's the ridiculous damage source. The spells damage is fine, it's that it can be manipulated to extreme damage by stacking the tendrils. Watch it catch the same bullet that took out the perfumes.

I'm looking forward to this spell becoming totally useless after FromSoft Nerf it 🙄 Usually the way, anything brokenly over powered. The quick fix always makes it brokenly useless. They never take the time to make a middle ground. So it will be a shame when this is totally destroyed, as it's a cool looking spell.

Ever heard of a bleed proc? It's in the base game. Nothing new. Many things in Elden Ring deal percent based dmg. There's your knowledge check so the rest skill issue. Git Gud scrub.

And if you want to kill consort radhan then get fucking good and not complain. This guy is trying to help make a fun build for everyone, And he maybe is on new game 1 so no wonder why the bosses health bar is so low
