What a simple idea with big impact! Your cards are beautiful! Thank you for sharing! I just used this technique for a detailed butterfly die. It not only strengthens the paper but adds a beautiful, realistic sheen! Just the look I have been trying to achieve unsuccessfully with Wink of Stella!

What if you put two pieces of packing tape together and put it through folder, could then be used in place of acetate for shakers or peek a boo type cards.

I have not tried this. It sounds interesting. Although I think the acetate on its own is thicker.

@@stampinsimplywithmaria I've had problems embossing the acetate, get fine crackly lines, I think the tape might be better for that cause it's thinner and not ridged, less chance of the crackles, although some things like the snowflakes look good with with the crackles.

@@kellylynn6831, yes, I imagine that would be true. Acetate is difficult to emboss. I'm going to try that soon. I'll let you know😉
