Press it, and change the minimum width to 600. Then try again. Then change the minimum width to the previous value. Please use beta version from APKMirror. Credits: @LShortcuts

Yess it's work, most of the mobile doesn't show that option so for that you just go to about phone in settings and enable developer option then search for minimum width in developer option, after that set it's Value to 500 dp; you can also increase it. But, remember your default Value of minimum width to get back to your normal screen.

you literally saved me, i opened my account with a Chinese number while i am still living here, and wanted to open my account in the new phone i bought and didn't want to open a new one from my own country number, and apparently it was impossible to receive a code bc it's a Chinese number, and i followed the step and was able to open my account on the new one as well❤thank you soo much

It doesn’t work if secondary device is iPhone and in my case my dad has iPhone 14 pro max as main and iPhone 7 Plus as secondary phone so both iPhone lol so yea it doesn’t work if secondary device is iPhone WhatsApp should fix this.

For this to work , the second phone shouldn't have a sim card. And you must be on beta now. Later you can put back the sim

It doesn’t work on iOS. If your WhatsApp primary device is Android and you want to link it to iOS device it doesn’t work. I’m on the latest beta build for iOS.

I’ve been using this feature for a very long time with WhatsApp web on my laptop. With this I can send WhatsApp messages even if my phone is not connected to the internet. Very useful.
