Plethora - a lot "I have plethora of hobbies." Mesmerise / mesmerize - enchanted "the lake was so beautiful, I was mesmerized." However -use when u have to explain two things that have contradicting meaning "I was a very active child, however now I always sit around." Recapitulate - another word for summarizing " well to recapitulate ,in my opinion I think..... " Dilemma - when you're in a difficult situation to make a two decision "I was in a dilemma." (you're welcome, honestly I did this to make it easier for myself. Didn't think it would benefit others too. Just make sure to support the creator ! )

Vocabulary for speaking 1.Plethora = A lot Plethora of shopping complex 2.Mesmerize = Beautiful The painting was beautiful, I was mesmerized 3.However= two contradicting sentences I used to play football however now I love cricket. 4.Recapitulate= summarize To recapitulate 5.Dilemma = Confused It was a difficult situation , I was in dilemma . I took my test last week and I got 8. I understood, There’s literally nothing to worry. If you can speak English, you can do the speaking test. It’s that simple. Don’t stress urself with too many tips or high vocabulary etc. Imagine u r speaking to just a random person in English. That’s it. You’ll get 7 for it. All the best

There are plethora of ielts videos but this has become my favorite video and after watching it I was very much mesmerized. I used to watch many english videos to learn english however I have opted to watch only IELTS videos now to learn tips which would target to improve my communication skills. I also teach idioms to my Korean students.. That is why even if they only need to get 6..they get higher than 6 which is 7 or 7.5..more fluency and they will surely get 8 and higher

Actually, at the moment there are plethora of things going on in my life. Sometimes i think i am spreading myself too much and i need to give attention to only one field. However, i always feel mesmerized when i learn something new and i keep doing a lot of stuff together. One time, I decided to decrease the number of activities in my life- It was very hard and at the end I was in dilemma. To recapitulate, I have never been able to concentrate only one thing at a time.

wow among plethora of videos its just awesome and i am now out of delima what to choose and it mesmerized me about my old days trying to learn such vocabulary . Hence on recapitulating its beneficial way to learn . However it may end up with zero gain if we don't make use of it in present situations. 😉

Thank you for your valuable suggestions Manjita. I have taken IELTS examination 4 times . 1st was an academic exam and I got my desired marks which was for my studies in the UK. The rest of the exams were general . The reason why I couldn’t get my desired score, was because I couldn’t get a band 7 in the writing module . I am still working on it . I had no issue with rest of the modules as I could score above 7 for rest of them . And this is my personal learning experience from the exams that I have taken until now . It would be rather good for a person to use words that they are familiar with as opposed to using words that are learned just for the purpose of exams. I did this mistake for my second speaking test and ended up using a word out of context and the result was 7:5 ( I had a band 8 for my previous speaking test ). Manjita is doing a great job by helping us , I really appreciate that . But I also wanted everyone ,who is struggling just like me to get a specific score to know this - Please make sure that you use words in the right context or you can get it completely wrong which will eventually reduce your final score. Thank you .

There are a plethora of ways to study IELTS speaking exam, however I recommend this channel to a fresher to avoid dilemma where to start and it was completely mesmerizing for me to learn the beauty of English language. To recapitulate, english is a straightforward language that anyone can elevate their desired band scores by practice.

There are plethora of platforms to learn ielts but i was mesmerised by youtube. Similarly i used to watch videos on dailymotion however now i love to watch video on KZfaq. I have been searching for best ielts channel for achieving desire band but i was in dilemma then i got you. To recapitulate i crack the ielts.

@manjita Somehow I was getting a gut feeling that you were using plethora inappropriately, so Googled it and found out this - The misuse of “plethora” is a pet peeve of mine. The word “plethora” doesn’t mean “a lot,” it means “too many or an overabundance.” In the example, Many voters feel that there are a plethora of laws that are useless, it shows that some voters believe there are too many useless laws. And, if you say you own a plethora of baseball hats, you’re not saying you have a lot-you’re saying you believe you have too many for your own good and it’s time to get rid of a few.

@@parthahir1715 If you are not confident enough about your speaking test , please start practicing everyday for half an hour with your friend as the interviewer. You can also do a solo practice infront of mirror but having a person in the opposite can help you know your mistakes. First practice without stammering and once you're confident , use sentences using words from the above video . She has one more video about another set of words. Try making your everyday conversation at office with professional English and perfect grammar rather than using slang words. Try including complex sentences in your answers rather than simple ones. Practice is the key to improving and I'm sure you can do it ! All the very best :)

When I went in holiday in Spain 4 years ago I saw plethora of amazing places that I was mesmerised after them. I was in a dilemma to choose a place to visit but finally I choosed Costa Brava region. It is not raining most of the year in Spain, however in the UK it is raining most of the year. To recapitulate, it was a very beautiful holiday and I wish to go back again in the future. Hope my sentences are OK!

I did plethora of ielts speaking tests but did not use vocabulary much. I watched the video on your channel and I mesmerize. However I believe that 4- 5 vocabulary words are enough for speaking test. I was watching one of my favourite movie and now I am in dilemma whether to watch the movie or to watch more videos on your channel. I recaptulate that you are awesome.

I have plethora of hobbies such as reading books,read and watch news, watching cricket matches, learning and teaching. I view of Taj Mahal monument was mesmerized. Chat has positive connotation however gossip has negative connotation. To recapitulate, in my opinion you are fire(awesome) teacher. I was in dilemma while choosing a dress for my brother's wedding.
