Zephyr and Ignis Wraith with Blast is infinite fun. That Warframe is just made for this element.

Using nezha and his new augment with blast is so fun shooting an enemy once with the Cedo detonates blast on everyone.

I have blast/electric/radiation on Titania's Dex Pixia. Used it in Netracells today with great success. Dual Toxocyst Incarnon also works great with blast, but that gun was already OP so maybe it doesn't count. Blast/electric Phantasma with Shotgun Vendetta is quickly becoming a favorite for its ease of use.

For consideration: Any high status Sniper could make use of this. As the Blast damage scales with weapon damage, having a weapon with already high damage to begin with or high numbers like a Sniper can mean getting massive damage to a group on each headshot. I understand that this limits your options to grouping or cc frames that can easily get those headshots, however I think that it makes it a lot more fun to use Sniper-types.

Tenet galaxion also has the benefit of having innate cold, plus whatever you got for your progenitor. So you could go for heat and give it innate blast (not ideal cause you would have to mod for blast anyway to make sure it was blast heavy) or another element like magnetic to deal with eximus units easier, or radiation for some small crowd control. Edit: you missed one of the best secondaries for blast. Dual tox. It's incarnon outperforms most primaries and spreads blast procs in an aoe with headshots.

the thing about the blast torid is when you take a break after killing enemies it’s like it goes to complete garbage and you have to get like 3 kills in a certain amount of time so it can be strong again

A fun build ive tried is blast on the synoid gammacor you can use its incarnon fire to group up enemies cancel the incarnon and then use its normal beam fire to fill them with blast procs really fast

You can also opt for an "Electro-Boom" + Slash combo if you use weapons that are much stronger on status than raw damage, because the DoT may help delete some enemies before the Blast status cap

I used a very basic fulmin prime with blast and it surprised me how fast it deletes things I was one shotting acolytes

The laetum build your shown is very identical to mine except I went with heat and viral and increased status chance (because I know they is technically a blast stat on the incarnon form of laetum) So really I'm applying heat viral blast slash impact and puncture at the same time basically melting acylotes shields like butter with a hot knife And using my reaper prime to quite literally wipe the acylotes out of existence after 2-3 hits even against malice and violence completely untouched All while using nekros with gloom and having like 50 corrupted enemies on top of me and 6 exmius units as well (In fact I've actually started going into missions with just my reaper prime and my laetum because of how good I've built them)

I can't wait to get burston incarnon, right now i'm using the buston blast build on my braton, and it's satisfying af.

I've been maining my 8-Forma Kulstar for years now. This was like Christmas for me.

I hit a gold mine on a kompressa riven with dmg, ms, sc and -zoom, took 100 rolls to get there, but holy shit it's stupid fun.

Zephyr with the torid incarnon modded for blast and toxin with Primary blight is one of my favorite builds.

Try the Felarx, I literally theory crafted the build for blast before they even officially announced that it basically did what I assumed it might, and in practice it is so wonderful just deleting something and watching everybody in a 5m radius go with them.

Stahlta alt fire mode, makes for an amazing Blast weapon. Still a very usable primary fire mode, even when modded to focus on the explosions. Helps that the weapon has multiplicative GunCo, so really it can just one shot anything in the game with a decent priming companion.

At Mr 7, The aeolak been my budget heavy dps blast build coupled with embers passive damage boost, and her raging flames being converted to healing flames, combat never felt so seemless

I want to mention while blast corrosive is really strong it does fall off compared to other combinations like corrosive heat the higher level you go and does a lot less well if the enemies are not grouped. While it’s still crazy I would still use corrosive heat for not as you save a mod slot and it still performs in its own right

My personal favorite is Kuva Hek because you can get stupid amounts of multishot. Even with a small status chance with all the pellets you proc the blast anyway and because the Hek can run semi cannonade mod you can proc it on multiple enemies that could cause them all to explode after the 2nd shot

3:16 - you do not need a heat or cold mod in your build (but you do need to respect the HCET ordering if your weapon has an inherent elemental damage type) as you can tap cast then hold cast thermal sunder to get both of the two elemental weapon buffs from it. (using thermal transfer can give the rest of your team these buffs as well, so everyone can blast)

With the change do ground finishers, Secondary Outburst has never been easier to stack on frames like Mag, Zephyr, or Inaros. You can use any frame using void sling (made easier if you can slow or freeze enemies. A fully stacked outburst can make most crit secondary a lot stronger. I've been casually level capping with the angstrum incarnon using it.

Occucor is the perfect compliment for Dagath and her new augment IMO. I have Thermal Sunder subsumed onto her so I can mod the weapon with Corrosive and get Blast from abilities (at 380 strength with Precision Intensify the Blast weighting is still incredible even with Primed Convulsion bumping up the weak base damage even more), plus a nice perk is that I can run Topaz Crit Chance shards and just proc the Heat buff at the start to charge them up before swapping to the full Blast setup. Also, Atomos Incarnon with just the base mode is a Cycron that gains ammo economy, base damage, and chaining strength for slightly slower fire rate and lack of an extra progenitor element. And Boar Incarnon is a grown up Occucor without the ammo convenience but a lot more base stats to work with and no status procs wasted on Radiation. One thing to note with Blast versus bulk armored enemies is that ability strip will MASSIVELY outperform a Corrosive setup because the AoE will be mitigated by armor of enemies within range of the explosion but not hit by the weapon itself to get Corrosive stacks. It's still free extra damage but it's a lot less than you would get with a proper area strip.

A status focused Vermisplicer primary looks pretty promising.

I thought the Kuva Kohm would be good with blast because of its sky high status. Unfortunately it was rather disappointing (at least during archon hunts and Netracells) due to it's low damage per pellet.

been running alt fire bubonico elementalist build w blast, electric and viral on alt fire plus corrosive on the main fire works well for murmur, elementalist gives a good bit of mag size too

I think Lavos could also be a really good frame with Valence Formation, boosted status chance and a significant damage boost.

Another perfect primary is the boar incarnon. Five auto locking, chaining, torid beams. So good.

Also lavos with valence formation works beautifully cuz you can either get blast or corrosive from it (Edit) i ususlly use the dual toxocyst cuz the incarnon has aoe

I'm assuming you should use the Status evolution of the incarnons instead of Crit evolutions if you are going for a Blast build?

Don't sleep on the wolf sledge either. It procs blast on the explosion and makes it quite strong these days

Torid with Oberon with a little range, Growing Power, and Hallowed Reckoning is a, ahem blast. Torid was always one of my favorites now I can solo missions like the Lua defense Steel Path all day. I would also say hammers like the Volnus are really silly with blast damage.

You went through all the primaries. brought up the Braton for fire rate. and completely passed over the Brrrt Brrrt Champion, The Baza. Little bit of Status, Little bit of multishot, whole lot of fire rate, super precise aiming. It doesnt rely on an incarnon like half the list does, or a progenitor element, the only downside is you may need a riven if you wanna add crit. but its not about big numbers. its about going brrt brrt and hitting blast procs.

I got a corrosive riven for torid, so i can run corrosive/blast + nourish. Absolutely insane

with my torid I got a beam with 200% crit change, almost 10x multi, 200% status chance, and modded both for corrosive and blast. Got a nice old riven coming in handy, it absolutely shreds. Still I prefer the tenet galxion since it needs no incarnon charge up :P I mostly use my crit Laetum as secondary (corrosive heat), but I might remake my old status one to blast for fun times :)

I made Mesa a Blast-Corrosive menace. It's not as strong as in Duviri but it's still melts enemy armor and health with her 4th

Hello, can you explain how works and how do we build stuff for eidolons and archons?

I tried quite a few blast setups but ultimately I think blast meta only exists in the simulacrum where enemies are always grouped up, most of the time the 5m blast radius just isn't enough and a normal damage setup would just be better

I've mainly been using blast on the Acceltra Prime, Kuva Nukor and Glaive Prime. Of the three, I find the Acceltra to be the most fun for me. :)

blast nataruk + mag magnetise = instant kill and even better if you have a blood altar helminth to keep sucking ennemies in the bubble

Like are you counting the armor stripping property of corrosive damage as the damage boost we used to have? and that'll only apply to grineer, or was there an added boost to damage on top of the armor stripping that im forgetting about?

Kuva sobek with acid shells and blast?!?!?! Surprised not a lot of people are talking about this. Now granted for the single target damage you need chroma or saryn without spores just corrosive and toxic lash but man once the acid shells start blastin the blast do be blastin endlessly. Looked like melee influence all over again creating a chain reaction in the next rooms on survival. Really fun one also is the tenet arca plasmor, again the single target damage needs a tiny push at first but once it gets going, its just melts, my new fav weapon for the new game mode paired with saryn and a tenet plasmor magnetic or blast = fastest and most kills in a run.

I recently touched base with the Kompressa again, and I can confirm, it's kinda nuts with the new Blast. That said, you missed one frame who turns all the aforementioned weapons into Blast powerhouses REGARDLESS OF THE BUILD USED...which is Lavos. To top it off, just his kit in general is all the better thanks to all the changes. Other things I've noticed is that (Kompressa being the prime example, Lavos being the universal alternative solution) if you can somehow get Viral *AND* Blast together, it's even crazier than with just Blast.

For the primary list, here are my opinions: I pretty much agree with the list and lowkey forgot about Strun Incarnon lol. Tho, I prefer Phenmor stick with the non crit natural slash build as it has so much raw dmg it will just literally shred anything in 2 to 4 hours of Steel Path. Making it slash means it scales hard into endurance. And for the Tenet Glaxion, I personally think Magnetic progenitor is much more easier to work with as you can do two builds with it, corro cold or corro blast by just changing one mod. Magnetic allows it to literally shred with corpus shields and overguard and its raw dmg with either corro cold or corro blast just shreds everything else, it struggles a bit with acolytes but it will shred it regardless. Also, Atomos is an underrated weapon. I would dare say Atomos Incarnon is the better Tenet Cycron due to how DE still messed with battery ammo. You fire so much and charges really slow and that goes with any Battery weapon and I have been avoiding them like a plague. Atomos is another all rounder like Laetum as its incarnon form blasts away Acolytes, and its primary chain beam shreds anything including Eximus. One issue is a bit of ammo wastage as it fires so much and it has a lot of damage so having carrier and/or ammo mutation is enough to forget the ammo.

Not nearly as potent as the furis, but I like running the Onos with blast cause the incarnon is treated as a beam for better status damage scaling with multishot. It can oneshot lvl 200 exo gokstad officers with secondary outburst pretty consistently from my testing and scales decently into levelcap with priming

I highly advice against this, instead for new players I recommend building a kitgun with the highest crit your able to get then level it and then go to zariman and use high level players to taxi you through multiple angles to get the heat arcane for eventually a 4.8x dmg increase on heat procs

isn't better to use [Gilded Truth] instead of [Vile Acceleration] on Burston? i know -15% damage won't effect it but u still get good fire rate from gilded and won't run out of incarnon charge faster especially if Wisp on squad but tnx for that build it really shine comparing to my Build (and i'm Using Groll Riven)

Use guass thermal sunder augment. You get ice and fire and it combine to blast damage. I use this mod on garuda. I have slash procs from her 4th ability continuously for 18 secs. I combine thermal sunder augment that gives you ice, fire and blast at the same time. I have slash, ice, fire and blast, magentic and viral from my other weapon. Proc all the time. Anyone that wants to try it. I recommend using this on hydroid with strun prime incarn form. Even without, the incarn form you are hitting for 2M on this gun. It makes no sense. Incarn form. And the incarn is just ridiculous now. It does so much damage

It's not just blast. All the AoE elements are good now. Gas, electric and blast. I've been experimenting with them all by using a flat viral weapon build on Valence Lavos and they all perform about the same, with each being stronger against specific factions, on different weapons or in different situations.

Personal recommendations: Blast Vectis Prime with Harkonar Scope, Prisma Grinlok, Arca Plasmor, Tenet Spirex and... Zylok Prime. Yes. It's totally silly with blast.

atmos is an easy early game weapon to get for secondary that has in built heat and it chains

I try using some of old weapon in my inventory, such as Amprex and Athomos (Incarnon buff) with Blast, it's fun. And then the ultimate nuke melee is like: Xoris + Blast + Kullervo's Wrathful advance = Easy Game

It says a lot about DE‘s status rework that non of the actual blast weapons are good at dealing blast damage. Instead we are now using beam weapons to deal blast damage. Makes no sense, but heh.

Blast is not limited to this. I was testing melee for disruption after the update, when I primed the heavy gunners with nukor and I killed one of them with heavy attack, there was a super high AOE killing things nearby. Turns out it was because of arcane affliction. With arcane affliction blast can do ridiculous amount of damage.
