Cable isn't necessary i just pressed ps and select button at the same time. after pressing them both for about 2 seconds the 2 to 4 red lights will turn off leaving just the number 1 light blinking then when the red light stop blinking you successfully connected your controller to your device.. No cable needed Note:Do this while your phone bluetooth is on then wait for your phone's bluetooth to detect the controller then pair it

Not all PS3 controllers are legit. For example, I have 2 DS3's. One of them is official while the other one isn't. The fake one doesn't have motion controls even though it has 'SixAxis' term sealed on it at the front.☠️
