I just sold two kayaks. People should watch this, and research and ask to take it out on water. I've been in our kayak community for 4 years now and refused to sell my kayaks without running over the entire kayak from bow to stearn, top to bottom with the purchaser. The kayak community is friendly so I wanted to make sure the buyer was aware of all work performed and etc. If your unsure, take a friend with you when you buy. There are alot of folks trying to rip people off out there.

You did exactly the same thing I did when I sold my last kayak. It is the only way to sell. Turned it over, reviewed the repair work, everything.

Very informative! The kayak looks new. I've put a flashlight inside the kayak hull to check for cracks around stress areas.

This review is EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED TO SEE. 👏BRAVO! I'm currently looking for a used sit-on kayak for 🎣. It'sa stressful process for a newbie so this helped much. Basically I want to fish near in shorelines of ponds, lakes, marinas, etc., in Florida. Nothing extreme, just a fun time Bass fishing 🎣 cheaply but reliable enough. Thanks for an AWESOME video full of buying tips!

I try to always try them out . I have only bought one used . I have had about 12 used ones given to me for free thru the years . Most needed some kind of repairs . Usually , I just fix them up and find one of my friends or their friends that want a cheap kayak when I finish fixing them .

Nice video man good insight on what to look for , I am checking out a Feel Free Lure V1 from 2016-17 that looks to be in good shape, was wondering what’s the oldest used kayak you yourself have purchased?

My first kayak was a Native Ultimate that was 2 years old. I kept it for 5 years and upgraded to my current Jackson. The Native was still in perfect shape when I sold it.

Might be buying a jackson coosa fd not very used because it came back to the dealership after the one side boondocks landing gear broke thru. 1500. They said they would fix it but who knows if that will work lol

Take a close look at the weld! Turn on your phone video with a flashlight and run it inside the hull to check out the interior repair.
