no bro honestly i got the 160 cavd i instantly changed the timing chain and till today ( 222000km) only the turbo broke and changed the breaks i always changed oil it has a stage 2 now with 231 hp and many parts and i honestly cant complain ! its the bad timing chain which made the car worse but after the change its actually a valuable car

I think this used car review approach is something new and good. With the super crazy COE prices now, used car market is a huge untapped market to be explored and review about. Hope to hear more objective reviews on used cars! Looking forward to more reviews!

Keep up with the used car reviews! I think it's good instead of continuously pushing out new cars review, considering the 2nd hand market in Singapore is significantly huge also.

Noice to have a used car review. Contemplating to get this as it's very good looking for singles, or a used MK5/MK6 or maybe a CS3. Can have reviews on these models would be great. Also there is a wet clutch ver out there for the Scricco if i recall....🤔

Can only speak for the UK and currently owning the dirty diesel version, I absolutely love them! I didn't realise they get a bad wrap out in Singapore and I follow quite a few guys who have them out there! Fantastic cars, much better than their Golf counterparts. The 160bhp Twincharged are renown for issues unless newer than 2012, sound lovely and go quick but suffer cracked pistons etc

Finally another used car review! Was looking forward to one ever since Jon reviewed his forester. Good review by jay but can don't talk so fast? Make me ganchiong 😂 Some helpful info to include 1 Make year 2 Cost of maintenance / common parts to breakdown / common issues / things to look out for when looking to buy that particular model 3 Things the owner love and hate after driving for awhile 4 Alternative models to recommend / similar cars Hope to see more used cars. Maybe can start by reviewing cars driven by sgcarmart staff.

@@jasperphilippi5567 owned on for 7.5 years and still moss it, a lot. If you ask about power, ever follower a Honda accord 2.4 at 230km/h on north south highway until it gave up. The best part of the car is the engine: the older it gets the smoother it became when all other parts failed on after another. The biggest problem was the slip clutch which VW gave all sorts of excuses and the best they could do was to ‘re-calibrate’ them until they finally found a permanent solution, by then it was no less than 4 workshop visits with lots of time wasted. Had I not needed a bigger space I’d still be driving it.

I'm stuck between a e46 325ci and this car going to get my first car soon and i want it a little bit powerful can you tell me the pros and cons between these two cars? 325ci will push 190 hp with its inline six engine and can get to 210 with a chip tuning and this car can get to 225 hp with stage 2 tuning and i don't know how reliable a 1.4 car with stage 2 upgrade will be so need a little bit of help

If you had the extra cash id recommend getting a GTI golf or even the R instead. Those have wet clutches and generally last longer .

The idea of reviewing used car and how it fares after being driven for years is a great idea especially in SG's context. On hosting, the review was all over the place with no clear info on things that I cannot see on the specs sheet, would be good to hear about the drive more in depth. Also, the host needs to enunciate better or have a less monotonous speech. I had to on the subs for this to understand the video..

i have the 2015 scirocco 1.4 r line and no problems so far and its purrs like a panther XDDXD also depending where you from but i dont get pulled over by the police so often when i had the golf4 i got pulled over much more often .
