Please note at 11.35 Method signature is the combination of the method name and the parameter list. So, here function signature will be area ( double l, double b)

Mam we can write that non parametrised. Constructor are those in which instance variables are not initialised with the parametric values when the object of a class is created.

For User defined methods programs read the question carefully if not asked directly to write main(). Sometimes it is asked to return a value from Function and display the output in its caller. You have to go through the question properly. Happy Learning

Hello ma'am. I have a question, I was hoping that you'd help me out. Question: Define a method void printdetails(String pname,float pr,int qty) to read name of the product(pname),unit price of the product(pr), and quantity of the product (qty). Calculate total cost of the product, discount of 20% only if the total amount exceeds 10000rs. Calculate net price to be paid. Print out the details. And write a main function to invoke the function printdetails by passing suitable parameters to display the output. Your videos are really helpful. Easy to learn, and makes coding for us fun. Ma'am my sir wrote a program where he did not wrote the data type of the function and instead he wrote void in the method prototype like this : Public static void add(int a,int b) And in the whole program he did not mention function's data type

void before the function name indicates that the Function will not return any value i.e. no return statement to be used in the function body. Please check L2, L3, L4 videos for more detail. You may check the playlists for these. Happy Learning.

static before the function name indicates that the function can be executed without creating the object of its class. So, when we call the function using object statc should not be used. Hope its clear now.
